Rich Harden (0-1, 5 ERA)

Micah Owings (0-1, 7.2 ERA)

We all know Owings is just as good at hitting as he is at pitching. Maybe better.

Hopefully this one isn't rained out.

Harden- 5 2/3 IP, 25 K's. Cubs win.

Is it snowing there? The weather forecast said that there is a chance for snow today, with a high in the low 50's and a low in the 30's The daytime high temperature forecast makes it to warm for snow, but once it drops it is possible. I hope the forecast is wrong.

Owings has about the best bat on our team.

5 of cincy's starters are hitting below .200
Edwin Encarnacion
Jay Bruce, who is day to day with a hand injury
Brandon Phillips
Ramon hernandez
Alex Gonzalez he is hitting around .067

On paper it looks like the Cubs will dominate the Reds, but someone in our lineup has to start hitting eventually besides Owings and Votto. Taverez hasn't been a complete disaster offensively like most of the others on the team.

It's going to be cold tonight. High 30's/Low 40's. Maybe a few rain showers. I could see a delay or two possible.

I wouldn't start Harden tonight...to likely the game ends in a rain out or at least a delay.

I love Votto. I think he'll be an All-Star level player for the next decade.

Is there any timetable for Milton Bradley? The one positive about his injury is AB's for Hoff. I want him to get a ton of plate appearances this year.

I think Bradley would have gone tonight if the conditions were better. He may pinch hit.

Edit (From Chicago Sun Times Twitter):
Lou says Bradley wasn't going to play today because of weather regardless of progress of groin. Also doesn't know when he'll be back.

He's one of our best hitters. And he's left-handed. He should play a lot, even when Bradley comes back. Rotate him around to keep Bradley, Soriano and Lee healthy.

We never see Cubs players hit bombs to right field like that. Usually it's the opposition.
