Why would you roll your eyes at that? The guy blows a lot of chances, too much for my liking. Sure he hustles and I LOVE him as a player, but he can't be a starter until he knows how to work with the ball, be able to shoot jumpers consistently, etc. He looks so lost out there at times on offense that it's just kind of cringe-worthy.

we really need to get Ariza in here, but its highly unlikely. LA will try to keep him happy with a good contract. We've been talking about getting Nash a solid PG for the past 4 years, I already gave up on that, Dragic is the backup, end of story. I would really love Artest in a PHX uniform. He's only 29 years old. I would trade JRich for Artest any day.

Because he thinks Lou Amundson is a lot better than he is.

Trade O'Neal for Chandler, and Daniels.

Trade Richardson and Daniels for AK47 and Almond or Miles.

Trade Barbosa for Conley.

Pray that TMac gets released and realizes that PHX is the only place that can fix him.

Pick up Wilcox on the cheap.

resign Mr. Barnes, and Mr. Hill.

Nash/Conley/Dragic
TMac/Barnes/Almond
AK47/Hill/Barnes
Amare/Wilcox/Lou
Chandler/Side Show.

The T-Mac piece is a pipe dream....but I feel everything else is realistic. Gives the team better D, and possibly better O.

Like everything except Barbo for Conley, and I don't think HOU waives T-Pain

JRich for Artest, any day. we get a pretty decent scorer just like JRich, except we get a Defensive stopper in Artest.

is that realistically possible? if it its, I'm all for it

I was thinking along similar lines, but more like.

NO gets Shaq + Tucker in return for Chandler + Posey
OKC gets J-Rich in return for Earl Watson + Nick Collison + our 2010 first.
Suns get Watson+Collison+Chandler+Posey+2010 First for Shaq/Tucker/J-Rich

Resign Hill to a reasonable deal, and we're pretty much set...

Nash/Posey/Hill/Amar'e/Chandler
Watson/Barbs/Dudley/Amundson/Collison

Off the bench, we have a point guard who can score himself or set up team mates, a bonafide scorer, a couple of hustle players who are great on the boards and defense, and a solid vet who can score from the post and is a threat from the outside to make up for Tyson's offensive disabilities. I think that's pretty much a perfect team, and we still keep Barbs/Nash/Amar'e/Hill together. We get much better defensively in the starting lineup, and even though we lose out on some shooting (Barnes), we make a picture perfect 10 man rotation that compliments each other at all times. For example, in the starting line up, Amar'e can go out, Tyson in. Off the bench, Collison out, Amundson in. MOST IMPORTANTLY, we can cut Nash's minutes, still have a playmaker on the floor, and NOT SUFFER on defense because Watson is solid defensively.

GET 'ER DONE, KERR!

I think the suns can start by a player that can become a good defensive guy. I think they need to hire a defensive assistant coaches. for those who think Amare still has a shot at being a feared defender is just in denial. I think the suns should realize that they need to start at block 1 if they are really serious about changing the culture of the suns. Its crazy that I say this but outside from nash, the rest of the starting 5 should be traded.

I think we need players that reflect the type of culture the suns want. I think NAsh may not be able to guard anyone but at least he tries. J-rich, Amare, and Shaq are plain atrocious.

lou amundson is a good player. i love the guy, hustles no matter if he gets 30 minutes or 2 minutes. he's grown tremendously over the season. he played great defense on duncan when matched up against him. he's a hustle PF suited for coming off the bench. however, he is NOT a perimeter defender. while he tries to stay with his man on the perimeter, he easily gets blown by by anyone with any relative quickness. he should be coming off the bench and providing energy to the team, and defending big men, not wing players.

He isn't a perimeter defender. but does better than most PF's. He'll probably never be a starter-quality player but withoyt a doubt he'll have a career in the NBA because of his hustle and energy. If he keeps working towards a half decent offensive game, he'll be a good player.

Lou is not and most likely will never be a starter....apart from replacing hurt guys

I see Dudley as a starter - put Hill at the SG and make Dudley take and make threes in the offseason. He was really nailing that corner 3 in the last few games and could be a real pest on D if he got 30mins a game....

Im going to be pissed if he's a 'throw-in' for an offseason trade....
