would you do this deal......
hey ima detroit fan and i was wondering if you qould trade
amare for tayshaun prince, will bynum, and jason maxiell
i was thinking that since you guys are about to rebuild you guys would decline the team option to keep nash. this will have a domino effecy cuz whatever team nash goes hill goes and i doubt you will even resign him if he wants to stay cuz you want to get younger, so now amare will want out cuz his teamates are all gone, he is probobly mad for you guys shopping him around, and he will tell the organization to trade him cuz he going to opt out. SO, with all that said you guys can be fine with dragic and bynum who fits well with a run and gun system cuz they are young and they are both pretty good, you will defintly get a upgrade at small forward with tay and you get a decent starting power forward with max who will defintly fit in with the run and gun system. we can also give you some draft picks as sweetners but to me this deal looks good already
SOOOOOOOOOOO, would you do it?????????????

Of course it looks good to you; you're getting Amare Stoudemire with Tayshaun Prince as the centerpiece of the deal. I'm sorry, but unless you give up Stuckey, you're not getting Amare.

Throw in the Pistons 2009 and 2011 or 2010 and 2012 first round draft picks and it's a done deal...

It's not the worst Amare proposal I've ever seen...it would just depend on what's realistically out there. The Pistons are in love with Tayshaun they may or may not even be interested if it came up. Ideally, as a Suns fan I'd want more for Amare but realistically it seems feasible.
But ONLY if it comes down to having to trade Amare. If given the choice between the two sides, I'll take Stoudemire.

It may not be the worst proposal, but I still think we can get more for him than this. If it came down to having to trade him and this was the best offer available at the time, I might consider it because it would be better than letting him walk and risk losing him for nothing. But I think a better deal might be out there, and if that's the case, then I just can't see Amare in Detroit.

I agree. Like I said you would hope that you can fetch more for a star like Amare but how often do superstars get traded for superstars? Again, I'm not signing off right now & saying get it done, but if we HAVE to trade Amare it's a realistic possibility that wouldn't necessarily cripple the franchise.

i dont think you can find a better deal then this cuz no one can offer you this much talent, i mean the next best offer is brian cardinal, and it would sound better that you guys got tayshaun max and bynum instead of getting cardinal

The original trade is bad. If you threw in some 1st rounders then I would say it's an okay deal, but I still wouldn't do it.
Amare will be signing here again if the Suns want him. He doesn't have much choice.
Maxiell and Bynum are career backups. Not even 6th man material. More like 7-9th man.
Prince is a great defender and a great player. I would love to have him, but not at the expense of the Suns best asset. Prince is already 29 and is owed 22 million over the next 2 years, so he's not the kind of player you start rebuilding around. He still has some good years left though, so a deal with Prince and 2x firsts would be fair, I just wouldn't want to lose Amare like that.

I think we could work something out with Chicago, who was pushing hard for him at the deadline. But this is all assuming Amare even wants out. If he doesn't, then I'd imagine we would probably like to hold onto him and perhaps offer him an extension.

actually last season when we were good max was our 6th man and he is really good when given a chance and i can only imaine how good he can be in a run and gun style of offense

Maxiell is a decent player, but I still don't see him as anything more than a 6th man at best. I hate the idea of him being our starting PF because I just don't think he's cut out for it.

im not sure you have seen this guy play, yeah he is in a down year but what piston isnt this season, im teling you max is a decent starting power forward, he can defend and he has a nice post game, he is also explosive as hell

That may be true, but I still think there might be better offers out there. Stuckey's the only player I would really want from Detroit, but he has been deemed untouchable and I can't see them sacrificing a key part of their future for what could be a 1-year rental. Detroit would be better off just leaving the team as is and using their cap space to sign a couple of free agents this summer. Carlos Boozer said he'd be opting out, so you should try to make a play for him.

throw Stuckey instead of Bynum in the deal + a 1st round pick and you might have a deal.

I think Amare can fetch us more in a trade than this, but that's just overboard.

This is a joke right? Come on man, you can not be serious that you can get a solid roel palyer, not a star at all and some scrubs for an all star PF?
Stuckey is a nice player, but for real, is he going to be an amazing PG?? Ithink he will be good. Ill take my chances with amare over these guys.

Hmmmmm, no...no....no again. Nice try broski, only dude worthwhile on detroit is Stuckey and Prince would be nice as well. How about Nash/Shaq for Prince, Stuckey, and Maxiell. Then we're talkin.

No offense to Tayshaun, but no way I trade Amare in a deal centered around him. Adding Stuckey does nothing for me as I'm not sold on him either.

We'll give you J-Rich if you throw in Wallace in a S&T for 12mil/2year deal.
So:
Amare + JRICH for Wallace + Prince + Bynum (S&T for like 2mil) + Maxielle + 2010&2012 firsts and 2011seconds.
Nash/Barbosa/Prince/Wallace/Shaq
Dragic/Bynum/Dudley/Amundson/Maxielle
DOPE!
