Yes you guys had stretches where you were dominating us but the Jazz had stretches where we were just as dominating. Thinking the game was never in doubt is a scary thought for a championship team who let an 8th seeded team get within 3 with three minutes to go in the game. The Lakers didn't put the Jazz away last night, the Jazz did it for them. If the Jazz manage to play smart at the end of the game the series could very well be tied up 1-1 going in SLC. You guys have a great team and an amazing player in Kobe but if you want to win a championship the Lakers need to learn to play their game regardless of the score and not to rely on Kobe to win every game for them. Kobe can win all the close games he want against the Jazz but the Rockets, Trailblazers, and possibly even Nuggets will not be so inclined to bow down to Kobe. I think last nights game may have triggered the Lakers into championship mode but we will have to see how the respond next time they have a double digit lead.
You guys have a great team, your depth is just amazing but there are things to worry about. Good luck for the rest of the series! I have enjoyed the first two games, hopefully the rest will be even better.Keep believing the lies you and your fans have about this series.......You Ain't Winning It......Period.UTJazzFan_Echo1 wrote wrote::
I don't know about you guys but I think last night proved we can win this series. The Lakers hit us with everyone they had in the first half and we were still in the game. We had our way with them on offense for most of the game exception being the last 3 minutes and it was not the Lakers defense that caused the problems it was our own stupid mistakes. If we can win the next two games at home (which I fully expect to happen) and Memo can come back for game 5 and play with the same grit as the team showed last night....Jazz in 7. Im telling you if we keep up the fight that we showed last night we will win the next 2 easy and gain the momentum we need to win the series. When we play at home turnovers will be cut down, shots will fall better for us, we will get more calls going our way, and the role players of the Lakers WILL NOT shoot lights out like they have been in L.A. The stars are aligning for an upset if we can just keep the intensity level up and focus on what we need to do each game.
Dude relax...
