Phil never really lost his first chance. He was throwing the no-hitter, pulled a hamstring, came back and pitched well in 5 games to get the Yankees to the playoffs. Obviously very well against the Indians in the playoffs. Then he pitched a solid game against Toronto, broke a rib in his second game and he got back near the end of the year and made one more start, also against Toronto and was solid again. Then this year he started in the minors because Andy came back. He was never "really" demoted. As far as I'm concerned I still think he has what it takes to be one of the top starters in the league. -Jitpal
