i read the above on the knicks board. i wonder if a solution for this is an amnesty.

Why? It's funnier seeing how long before they reveal who they previously were.

i dont know its just that forums are a dying breed to begin with. with twitter and all. so why in the world will a website quicken the death by banning the lively characters that keep a forum alive.

Yme,

What do you mean by an amnesty?

an amnesty that allows waived regular posters of the past to get their realgm accounts back.

start with jermaniac i miss that poster howard. i used to just go to the pacers forum just to read what he had to say about pacers basketball, he was better than espn.

amnesty will add new life to all the forums. in that regular posters who arent banned will feel free to talk again. one thing i noticed on the knicks board is that in the stickied yahoo fantasy basketball league. there sooo many long time knicks posters actively participating in that league, but not actively participating on the knicks board. and i remember these guys howard you couldnt shut them up.

years of banning regulars taught them to shut up. its a safe approach for regulars that keeps their account active so they can play yahoo fantasy bball with fellow realgmers, but it doesnt add any life to the board. an amnesty is like telling the regulars who arent banned hey you can talk again.

It's funny how you can know about Jermanic who was banned long ago when you have only been here about a month.

Prehaps your a poster who wants amnesty for an old alias?

I think that is the case here. Thanks for identifying yourself.

seriously, thanks for banning this guy. He was literally single-handedly ruining the Knicks forum.
