DET and PHX have a trade to annouce.
Jamario Moon $711,517
Jason Richardson $12,222,221
Luther Head 1,962,378
for
Andre Miller $10,333,333
Jason Maxiell $1,877,572 (counts as more though checked the trade and his contract is weird)

We give up an expiring in Miller and a young big in Max, however we has Brendan Bass and he makes Max sort of redundant. This trade is risky but I think I can get a PG this offseason. This trade gives us two guys that solidify my bench and though they are expirings we plan on resigning them this offseason. Richardson gives us a solid 6th man and a good trading chip as well. He also makes Barbosa more expendable. We really like this trade and it gives us a lot of things we in DET have been looking for. PHX said he'd confirm when he gets the chance.

DET and LAC have a trade to annouce.

Tony Allen $2,500,000
Luther Head 1,962,378

for

Louis Williams $4,500,000
Fred Jones $459,782

We give up a good bench player in Allen, but we have Richardson as our backup SG so he was expendable. We get the backup PG in Williams that we've been looking for, he is young, and can score in bunchs. We like the dynamic he brings to our veteran team.

Clippers accept. We liked Williams, but this was essentially a salary dump from our end. The aggressive rebuilding continues.

Minnesota and LA Clippers have announced 2 trades

Trade #1

L.A will send
Marquis Daniels $6,864,200
Minnesota's protected future #1 returned

to Minnesota for

S.Williams $3,395,760 exp
M.Baston $2,272,860 exp
2009 pick #39 (Toronto's)
2011 Golden State 2nd
Philly's 2012 1st (unprotected)

Trade #2

Minnesota would send
W.Herrmann $2,000,000
to L.A for
M.Baston $2,272,860

Minnesota's main reason for this deal is getting my pick back. We feel that it now allows us to improve without the penalty of losing our pick. Daniels is a nice player who we have been trying to optain from his past couple teams, we think he has proven that he can score plus gives us the option of keeping him around while our younger guys learn and develop

Clippers accept. We pick up a couple of expirings and a couple of extra 2nd picks in this deal.

The Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets have agreed upon a trade.

The Pacers send Troy Murphy ($10,126,984), Sacramento's 2010 2nd Rounder (top 32 protected), and their 2011 First Rounder for Ron Artest ($7,400,000) and Joey Dorsey ($816,500).

Artest + Dorsey X 1.25 = 10,270,000. WORKS.

Houston accepts, we understand we might lose Artest, but at the worst case scenario he gives us an expiring contract, and we pick up a youngish big in the process.

^^Houston accepts, under the condition that GM a Team jalapeno poppers are included in the deal.

Houston is downgrading defensively, but gets some picks and a decent rebounding force to go with Yao Ming., and clears up the SF glut, allowing Rashard Lewis to slide over to his more natural position.

pending approval of the LA/Minn deal,

Minnesota and Orlando have agreed to a trade

Minnesota sends

Marco Bastom $2,272,860 (exp)
2011 Philly 2nd

to Orlando for
JJ Reddick $2,139,720, $2,839,408 , $3,887,150

Minnesota thinks a change of scenery and an opertunity to play is just what JJ needs to revert back to the deadly shooter he was in college. We think the future 2nd is well worth the present talent

Orlando accepts the above trade.

We have no use for JJ and an extra big was needed even if it is for only this season. We also had planned to let JJ go in 2010 anyway so...
