he's like Josh Towers....
you pray he's a .500 pitcher and doesn't lay and turdlings

and BJ Ryan's trapezius injury, to me, is on par with his sore back prior to his Tommy John surgery.
i really wonder how his traps resulted in such a crappy performance.

No, you pray that the lineup he's facing will be mostly right-handed:

Richmond's splits:
Vs. Left IP 21 WHIP 1.90 AVG .368
vs. Right IP 22.1 WHIP 0.72 AVG .156

I doubt he's even hurt right now. They just needed to get him off the team.

Which is why next year when we have Marcum and McGowen back, Richmond needs to be the righty specialist out of the pen. His numbers against righties has been godly, even going back to last year IIRC. Richmond also has better stuff than Towers. He was throwing 92ish all night yesterday and touched 94 more than a couple times. His curve ball was also ridiculous. He got 4 of his strike outs on them. Also, I read on another forum that he threw 16 curveballs with 13 for strikes and 8 of them were swinging. Although Texas is not a very patient team, that is quite impressive.

 This better not somehow develop into another "season-ending" injury, I'm tired of hearing those.

Any news on Romero? He was the only bright spot in the Jays injury riddled rotation.
