Javale McGhee

Post#1 » by Ji » Fri Apr 24, 2009 8:25 pm

What do you think this guy's ceiling is? Could he be a starting power forward for us with Haywood at Center or is he here to replace Haywood?

Or is he going to be a nice NBA career backup or he is our best trading chip?

He showed flash but really I dont know what his upside is. Is he an All star Center? Or a good solid player?

The next Sam Bowie... You just jinxed him...

Nah I think a mini Dwight Howard, borderline allstar... But if he doesn't make any improvement by the end of next season (some postmoves or go-to move, much better defensive awareness, some kind of mustle) we should trade him while his stock is still high....

If he was coming out this year, you think he would be going at #3?

That sound you hear is McGee's knee exploding. Both of them.

Why, Ji? WHY?!?!

Behind Harden I guess... Harden looks more NBA ready than McGee did last year... Definitely before Thabeet (KFB 2.0)

IBTL. Come-on Ji, you know there is a McGee thread around here somewhere, or you could have put this in the long-term thread.

Anybody else get the sense that Ji is purposely trying to sabotage the Wizards and their players by starting these treads?`I bet he gets a kick out of being referred to as a jinx

Wow, we dodged a bullet. If Ji had spelled his name right, Lemonhead would be in some serious trouble. Thank heavens for illiteracy.

I don't know what he'll be, but I know he won't be anything like Dwight Howard. He's nowhere near as assertive on the court - much less as coordinated - even if he were to get half as strong as Howard. And it's a real stretch right now to expect that he'll be able to play PF in the NBA.

Do we have to create a new thread every time something pops into our head? Plenty of other threads this could go in.
