You know...the Caps are 100x better than the Rangers. I think it would be a real black eye for the NHL if the inferior Rangers advanced to the 2nd round. It would actually be a disgrace and the NHL needs to do whatever it takes to make sure the Caps advance

I don't want to see Ovechkin to get LeBron treatment. It's frustrating enough having to watch it in one sport. And 100x better than the Rangers? How about something a little less harsh...like 10x.

NHL is kind of the opposite of the NBA... instead of the stars getting favored treatment, they single out guys they don't like like Avery.

Although it does look like he earns about 90% of his penalty minutes. The other 10% he gets on reputation though. Like Artest with technicals.

The Caps are really taking it to the Rangers today. I'm loving it. Hopefully they'll keep it up the rest of this game and then finish the job in Washington.

I think we have this in the bag, but I'm not sure. Rangers only chance was with their goalie, and now that he's letting everything in, they don't have much else b/c their offense is putrid. BTW, if we win Game 7, I believe we play the Penguins. We play the lower seed.

Now i did say if we come back and tie the series we would win game 7, because i think we learned from last year and Verizon Center is going to be rocking

We play the Penguins only if Carolina beats New Jersey which is unlikely. If we advance, we face New Jersey and Brodeur.

Working on it, miller. I think I have a 50/50 shot.

If brash is suspended for game 7 -- and unfortunately I think there's a decent chance, rightly or wrongly, that he will be -- it would be huge if Clark is healthy and ready to go and Bruce can plug him in on the fourth line. he's clearly the consummate team guy and would do anything to get on the ice and help the team.

If he can't go, I wonder if they call up Aucoin. I just can't see them using Nylander, especially given where the opening will be.
