You have some major issues with both friend and wife if that is a serious concern on your part.
I guess the ban threat was due to thread spam? I don't always (usually?) agree with Dex but at this point he's close to board MVP (or at least Most Productive Poster), seizing that title from Hamilton (the creator of approximately 50% of all discussion on this board prior to the selection of DJ Augustin).

I don't spam, I was played by thetruthfire he batted me and batted me and like an idiot I lost my cool and called him names. Thank you Paydro for the mvp remark, I appreciate it. I don't understand why people get mad and somebody posting alot if it's A. a message board and B. Nobody is posting anything so it's almost dieing, the season is even over. I will admit I forget I post things and repost them again sometimes but I have no way of helping that. I just have a really bad memory. I take pills that have a side effect of memory loss so I can't help it. It is probably why so many people hate me. It kind of sucks.
I trust my friend and wife but Feeling can develop.

Re: Off Topic Thread
Hah, Dex you sound like my friend Alden. He'll tell the same damn stories over and over like he's never talked to you about them before. Sometimes 3, 4 & 5 times. It never fails,3-4 can months pass and he's gonna try and tell you about the same thing all over again.
Paydro is right too, my friends would never do anything like that. We won't even date each others ex's even if we find them attractive. However considering you are new to the area and you probably haven't known this guy that long maybe you don't have the same kind of relationship with your buddy and that trust isn't there yet.
As for others acting like **** just ignore it. Don't think it's not obvious to at least some of us here.

Re: Off Topic Thread
Im not usually the guy telliing the same stories. This is new. I started taking a sleeping pill with a side effect of memory loss. It's temporary and I am gonna start to ween off.
My memory used to be a computer. Now I can watch a show and forget everything the next week for a good 5 minutes into it and then i completely remember everything.
this is not a personality trate of mine it's a temp thing but it's freaking annoying for me and apperentlly even stretching out to this. Never saw that coming.
As for my friend I have known him since he was 11 (28 now) but I am 99% sure he has a thing for my wife. That is what scares me. Plus he hasn't had a girl in 2 years so I don't think he can control himself. I trust my wife but she slept with her best friends boyfriend as a teen.
The combo scares me.

Ditto.
BTW, I have a friend that I see about every other year and each time he tells the same stories like they're new. I love the guy, but that's what drugs as a teen will do for ya.

Re: Off Topic Thread
Catching up on Realgm today, bear with me for my stream of consciousness posting.
Dex- What do you like about supernatural? 1000 crunches a day!? I don't think the acting is bad in fringe, I don't care for Joshua Jackson though. I have less than 10 sodes of Terminator left, have they announced that they won't be making a season 3? I haven't been checking the wiki or anything because I don't want to read any spoilers. I'm 23 and have had an awesome gf for over 4 years. I live with 3 other guys and have no concerns about her interacting with any of them, but if you are really worried about it I wouldnt do it, doesn't seem like it's worth the headache. I've been working on getting in better shape over the past month or so, but I keep falling off of the waggon. I'm praying that once my pool is open I'll be able to get more consistent cardio. I've been playing basketball a lot lately since it's getting nice again, but riding my handbike over the winter was brutal, it's such a chore. What have you been doing for your dieting? I try my best to start the day off with fresh fruit, then exercise and eat some protein (hard boiled egg or tuna) and I try my best to eat a healthy dinner. It's been hit or miss, so I'm looking for any ideas or suggestions to help me get more committed.

Not that anyone asked but....
If i had a friend that i didnt trust around my GF that person probably wouldnt be my friend in the first place. If I didn´t trust my GF around my friends she wouldn´t be my GF, but that´s just me. I´ve never had gobs of friends (or GF´s for that matter) so maybe im being extreme.
I lost about 100 lbs (and gained maybe 10 back) after I ballooned up after HS, I don´t know if i have any useful advice becasue what worked for me might not work for anybody else...
That said, What worked for me is small incremental change. My normal meal was something like a Wendys triple with a big fry and a big coke. Instead of trying to eat nothing but salads overnight I was more gradual. The first thing I did was change the meal above to the same thing minus the coke, with a water in its place. Did that for a week and then changed something else. Find the one thing that really kills your normal diet and change it, leave the rest alone for a week or so.
The other thing i would do is if I had eaten an amount of food that I knew should be enough to satisfy me and i still wanted to eat, I would make a little deal with myself. I would wait 20 minutes and if I was still hungry I would allow myself to eat more. What I found is that 85% of the time I would decide that I wasn´t hungry 20 minutes later.
Keep us updated on how it goes....

Me too. I started at 8:00am at a service we held here in Ottawa then cracked my first beer at 10:00am while a group of us watched the Bombers win a classic against the Pies (but we lost Hille for the season) and finished at around 2:00am this morning.

Me and my wife didn't split up. Never i hope.
As for the pills I have insomnia. It's no picknick and without the sleeping pills belueve it's worse then posting something twice and pissing off a few board members.
As for my diet I eat like a freak. I have a protein smoothy every morning for breakfast. I eat 24 egg whites a week min. I eat salads, fruits and grilled chicken and alot of turkey. I never slip up and have pizza. I eat everything low fat or fat free so if I have a sandwhich I eat turkey on whole wheat with fat free cheese and low fat mayo. I never drink anything but water and coffee and never have table salt.
I haven't been doing this my whole life and Im not anerixic or anything I just got really fat before and had to diet and learned and got really really into it. Just in case you haven't noticed I have an obsessive personailty and I use it to become a nutrionist wet dream. When I am done it will be about a 90 pound swing size 44 jeans to 32-34. Right now I am at 33 but I want to get down to 6'1 165 but not above 180 once I stabilize. I know I have to get a happy medium and it's to expensive to eat this perfect at all times. Eating healthy is very expensive. Fresh fruit and bleinding and juicing foods and eating every 3 hours gets expensive.
I am gonna play ball again in the begining of june end of may when I am 170 because I want to be the finished product before joining the local league which I have heard about. At 190 I can play and not stand out good or bad. At 170 I can board like a machine, block shots, and score all I want and breath
As for Fringe all the actors suck except for the doc who is o.k. and Alvarez from OZ is awesome but that's probably because I loved OZ and Alvavez was the man (Kirk Acevado)
You guys have to see the movie last house on the left. It was freaking awesome. It has Cumartie aka John Henry from Termanitor as the main character but that guy is a awesome acting.
Just don't watch it with a girl or on a date. Trust me on that one.
