Damn it I was watching the Lakers game at a party. About an hour after the game the cops came and I got a summons for Underage possesion of alcohol. Lakers still won though so I cant be that upset. Lakers all day!

This series isn't over and we can't take a complacent attitude into LA on Monday night. Everyone thought it was over against Phoenix and it wasn't. You play a best of 7 and you have to win 4 games and until we do that, I'm not satisfied.

What a majestic bounce-back by Kobe. Simply incredible. This was a performance of historic proportions. He crushed their hopes right from the start. This game was over after he made his first couple of baskets. We all knew it, the Lakers knew it, the Jazz knew it, D Williams knew it, Sloan knew it, their fans knew it. Fear and submission was in the air and it got thicker by every basket he made. I'm still in awe, one day later. Why isn't there a "Hail Kobe" thread?

Good all around discipline by most players, too, and great job by Phil, keeping their heads in the game for 48 minutes. I loved the timely time-outs he took. I love how he's staying on top of Odom and not allowing him to slip.

The way Phil coached this game leads me to believe that he's in more control of this team's performance than I've thought lately. He was going to make sure they won this game big, period. That bodes well.

I think Kobe's performance last night reminds people why he is still the best player in the world. He was phenonminal last night. The shots he would make werent easy shots either. A lot of the time he had a hand in his face, but it just wasn't enough.

I just smoked a jay and figured it out.... Phil didnt play Bynum, cuz the Jazz were attacking knowing he would be timid because of his injury. I heard Drew say something dumb the other day like "i either have to foul or let them go by..." no dumbass you BLOCK HIM or take a CHARGE. Sloan must of been real happy to hear that. Phil wasnt=Bynums ass on bench.

Phil knows we can beat the jazz without him. why not rest him to punish him for a dumb comment and to avoid risking injury. knowing the jazz, harpring would have clotheslined his knee and said he was going for the ball. Phil must be smoking that same purple cuz were on the same page.
