If available?

Post#1 » by Jay_Rizzles27 » Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:23 am

If Toronto was trying to get ride of Jose Calderon would he be a good fit in Minesota? If yes what would be a good deal for him?

He is a ball dominate pg that does not play defense and has a bad contract. Those are not traits we need.

He might not be the perfect fit, but he would be an obvious upgrade on what we have.

I am split. Let the new GM decide.

No thank you. Calderon is not what we need, really in any aspect. We need a PG who can play defense, doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective, and someone who doesn't cost the family fortune.

Well said.

People think I dislike Hinrich, but I admit he's a great fit here (and he's from Iowa too!). I just can't stomach the contract, and eating those expensive additional years without some form of compensation. I bring him up just to point out the KIND of PG we should be looking for, if we wanted to spend money on a vet. I'm trying to fight my man-crush on Rubio though.

Hinrich is like the anti-Calderon, but with the same ugly contract.
