With both their best player and best big off the bench out, their best scorer struggling offensively, their only true center fouling out, a post-concussion Jackie Moon look-alike fouling out in OT, and a backup PG who hasn't played in a year, they're showing a lot of heart against a young, athletic and very dangerous Bulls team.

This is not the same group that won the championship last year - no Powe, no PJ, no Posey, no KG, different bench and yet I have a very strong feeling they'll get to the ECF with less losses than last year. Don't despair. Enjoy. We'll get them in 6 or 7. This is a hell of a series. Props to the C's.

Side Note: Great to see Scal back. If he eliminates the need to put Mikki out there for good I'm all for it.

The PP clutch FTs is a bit overblown. We had Tyrus, Hinrich AND Gordon, a killer in the clutch, miss ft's that would have made a gigantic difference.

Of course I'm proud of them.

They got exhausted first and lost a double-OT game. It happens.

I am proud of them when they play defense. In 4 games they only did it in game 3. That is just not what this team is about...

I felt we played pretty good defense in the first 4 quarters...it dropped on the extra sessions...but in regulation our D was on point...we had the game in the 90's against a really good scoring team...maybe one of THE BEST scoring teams in the league...

All I know is today's game was a great game, this has been a hell of a series to watch. There is no quit in the C's, they are an easy team to root for.

Came in to say this. I'm proud of this team, especially with Rondo, and overall wasn't expecting much entering the playoffs with KG out. The team could have played flat like they didn't care, but they been pretty into it.

At the very least, these games have been unbelievable to watch. I'm not expecting a championship with KG out, but if I can get some of the most absolutely entertaining games I've seen, then I'll take it. I'm a huge Celtics fan, but I'm also a huge basketball fan and this series has just been flat out fun to watch.

word.

this team is going to have to fight for everything. they're battling, both teams are ballin. the bulls are a good team. it's a damn shame we're playing them, because they're a fun team to root for otherwise.

you want to see some ugly hoops, how about the magic-sixers? man. i think either us or the bulls would take out either of those teams in 5 games.

Let's hope they don't get their acts together for Round 2. :)

I thought it was just me that for all the close finishes, those Magic-Sixers games have been like watching teeth get pulled. Then a small forward hits a miracle three. The end.

As a Bulls fan, but more importantly an NBA fan, this series has been probably the most entertaining out of any other this postseason.

Both teams are diving, fighting, pushing, shoving, yelling, flopping, grabbing their balls (ben gordon), and cursing.

From a Celtic perspective,
-this series shows exactly how much heart your team has.
-It also shows what a great talent you have moving forward in Rondo.

From a Bulls perspective,
-this series has shown that Derrick Rose is a Chris Paul/Deron Williams-ish bball player, and that the only thing preventing him from taking that superstar jump is defense.
-It also shows that the Bulls are just an elite big man away from becoming contenders in the East.

Can't wait to see game 5.

There's always one isn't there... do they let you lick the windows on the short bus?

Meh, I guess that is harsh but having pride in the way this team has fought is nothing to roll your emote eyes about. I'm really impressed with the bulls and really enjoying this series even if I'm getting a few more grey hairs watching it.

I'm especially proud of the way Rondo has played. His Oscar Robertson-like performances have been a lot of fun to watch. In general I am proud of the team as well.

In game 4, Pierce's ft would have put Boston up by 3. It would have helped but it doesn't guarantee a win.
