To my knowledge, Jennings is playing on a short leash. So, every mistake, he gets benched thus inconsistency occurs. And considering the team he plays are a veteran squad, I can see why his minutes are low.

Not true at all. Even most superstar European players get maybe 25-26 minutes per game. Regardless, as you can see his play has been pretty awful.

Perhaps. You probably know more about this situation than me.

But something doesn't seems right though.

Really? And we get scoring from whom? And KM44- They wouldn't trade either of those players for Martin, so give it up.

Just like my idea with Harden at the point, Martin can play PG on defense!!! I actually think he is better there than anywhere else. It was the one thing Musselman did consistently that made some modicum of sense.

Found this on another site...kind of funny, but how I feel about Griffin/Rubio:

Do you want Beno Throwing it down to your bigman?

To shed a little light on this, let me give you an example.

I was in a play one time, and my best friend an I got the lead roles. He was Willy Wonka, and I was Grandpa Joe (Hold your jokes untilt he end please). People consistently said he was miscast as willy wonka, because he’s got a really deep voice, and couldn’t sing in the right range, and just didn’t fit. Some contested that I should have been Wonka, and he switched me roles. He ended up being a serviceable Wonka, and I did great as my part. The question is, how would he have done as the loveable Grandpa part? Your grandpa is supposed to sound old, and he couldn’t do that with his voice. He’s got an outstanding bass voice, but that limited him in somethings.

Ready for the switch?

Would you RATHER have your PF be serviceable, and your PG be able to fit his part perfectly, or would you take a badly miscast PG with an arguably (and I’m still thiniking that JT has Webber written all over him) better PF? If I know Petrie, the Value comes in the PG. I think that was Ziller’s point.

It also suggests why Petrie will take Rubio ahead of Griffin. Interesting read anyway...

I think that article kind of misses the point though--that you don't need to get a Rubio right now. You just need to get the best value available right now--especially at the top of the draft.

If we get the number 1 pick and Geoff wants to pick Rubio, fine. But then he should trade down for him. To do otherwise would be to waste value.

You always have to go by BPA no matter what at #1.

I don't think the post was that deep other than to say Petrie would rather have Rubio than Griffin. IMO I think it's possible to get both IF we get the 1st and whoever gets the 2nd is set @ PG. I just posted it because it was an interesting "opinion."
