Wow

We are 9-9 without the best player in baseball and Teixeira is hitting just over .200. Yeah we just got swept on the road by Boston, but that is because Mariano Rivera blew a save and AJ Burnett decided to give up 8 runs in an inning or two. Now suddenly the team needs a NEW DIRECTION? Did Girardi homer off of Rivera on Friday night? Did Cashman give up the grand slam to Varitek on Saturday to put Boston back in the game?

My dislike for teixeira is growing...

And before someone says it's "typical yankee fan overreacting", I hated the signing from the very begininng. I prefered Manny all the way. 2 years at 50 mil is not a bad deal at all. Swisher at 1st, Manny in LF and sometimes DH and Damon, Cabrera, Gardner fill out the other 2 OF positions.

But no, we just had to have teixeira... overrated as hell. Should have let him go to boston. I fear Lowell much more than I would have Teixeira..easily..

I'm pretty confident that ARod will be more than the .280 and 15 HR player that you are acting like he will be
