Quick fix

Post#1 » by jozef » Mon Apr 27, 2009 10:34 am

Start Williams-Miles-Harpring-Boozer-Koufos
off bench Millsap, Kirilenko, Korver, Brewer

Harpring sets the tone (say for 8 mins each half). Miles takes PG duty when Williams gets rest.
Koufos challenges shots and gives athletic spark from 7-footer. Brewer's limited minutes cancel Bryant's sagging tactics. Defenders on Bryant: Kirilenko, Miles, Harpring.

Minutes could be distributed this way:
PG Williams 40, Miles 8
SG Miles 26, Korver 16, Brewer 6
SF Harpring 16, Kirilenko 24, Brewer 8
PF Boozer 40, Millsap 8
C Koufos 30, Millsap 18
I should be on Lacob payroll...

I actually like the idea of really mixing things up for this game. Throw Fes out there, give Kosta some minutes. Let CJ play the point and give Price some minutes at the 2 gurard.

What the hell do we have to lose?

Fesenko is immature and would not be effective. Koufos is better prepared and in better shape. His starter performances in November was pleasant surprise.
We are undersized already and playing Price at SG would make it yet worse.

It's not about Titanic. It's about solving found troubles.

Like Delaney said, we found the trouble, it's called an iceburg.

What are you proposing we do? Move around the deck chairs.

Give them some kind of travel voucher? Maybe a free buffet?

I believe Iceburgs are classified as "weather related" so there will be no compensation of any kind. Sorry for the inconvenience.
