Scott Wright won't have all of his draft grades up for a couple weeks, but here's his take on our first-rounders:

"The Packers obviously have concerns about Ryan Pickett’s ability to play nose tackle so this pick makes a lot of sense for them. A stud nose tackle is the linchpin of any good 3-4 defense and they don’t just grow on trees. B.J. Raji rode a great 2008 campaign and a standout performance at the Senior Bowl all the way into the Top 10 overall and there just aren’t many people on this planet with his rare blend of size and quickness. Raji has to mature and keep his weight in check but he has the talent to be one of the best in the business."

"Many felt the Packers were going to take a pass rushing outside linebacker at #9 but after nabbing B.J. Raji with that pick they traded back into the first round for Clay Matthews. I actually had Matthews rated higher than Brian Cushing and I don’t think there is any question that he has the most upside of all the Trojan linebackers in this draft. Matthews will have a good shot at winning the starting job opposite Aaron Kampman and as an added bonus he is also a special teams star if they choose to use him in that capacity."

And here are some random, popular names discussed here in the past:

"38 CINCINNATI BENGALS: REY MAUALUGA, ILB, USC
An excellent value and addresses a need but this might be a bad enviroment for him.

39 JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: EBEN BRITTON, OT, ARIZONA
Will probably compete for a starting left guard job until Tra Thomas hangs them up.

40 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (f/OAK): RON BRACE, DT, BOSTON COLLEGE
Insurance behind nose tackle Vince Wilfork, who'll be a free agent after next season.

43 CAROLINA PANTHERS (f/SF): EVERETTE BROWN, DE, FLORIDA ST.
Dealt next year's #1 pick to land a potential long-term replacement for Julius Peppers.

46 HOUSTON TEXANS: CONNOR BARWIN, DE, CINCINNATI
Will play end in the 4-3 and provide depth behind Mario Williams and Antonio Smith.

57 BALTIMORE RAVENS: PAUL KRUGER, DE, UTAH
Will most likely bulk up and be groomed as the successor to 33-year-old Trevor Pryce."

Barwin is the one who, if we had known he would be there at #41, I would have loved to stand pat and take, but I really can't complain as I've really liked Clay Matthews for a while.

This was the consensus grades. Tied for third best draft overall behind Philly and New England.

Kiper in his chat:

Richard (Greensboro, NC): I used to be a Broncos fan but now I need a new team, one that makes intelligent choices with valuable draft picks. Who should I root for?

SportsNation Mel Kiper: I think the Green Bay Packers do a good job. They get it. They don't force need. They take the best players when they pick. They improved on the defense. That was their big weak link last year. BJ Raji and Clay Matthews in the first round. They also got an excellent blocking back.

James ( Avalon NJ ): If the season were to start tomarrow what team drafted the largest group of instant impact players?

SportsNation Mel Kiper: I think the Green Bay Packers have five guys who could be starters. I think the Buffalo Bills did a good job. They didn't get the OT, but they got a lot of guys that could make an impact and play. I think the Bears, for not having a first day pick did a good job. I really like Jarron Gilbert, DJ Moore, Johnny Knox. I think the Bears for getting out of the first day did a pretty good job overall.

Drew (Green Bay): How good is Clay Matthews at pass rushing?

SportsNation Mel Kiper: Very good. That's the thing that he can do. He can get after the QB. He has the chance to be in that 3-4 defense a great compliment.

I think we could very easily see three starters in Raji, Matthews and Johnson. If Lang and/or Meredith come in ready to work either could start. It's not like there's a rock-solid incumbent on the right side of the line.

I love the competition on the line. The cream should rise to the top and I think we'll have the makings of a good young unit.

This composites draft grades from a bunch of sources then gives a GPA. Oakland's GPA was .59. Green Bay got a 3.33.

Czarnecki from Fox Sports gave us the worst grade (a "C") but didn't really have anything bad to say about our draft. He just didn't seem enamored with it.

At least I know not to take Czarnecki's grades seriously. A C for the Packers and a C- for the Raiders? What a dumbass.

Haha I didn't even notice that.
