Looking Back at Last Season, What Happened 2 NO?

Basically the above blog poses the question of what happened to Hornets team? Why the fall off? Losing Pargo? Coach Scott? What about the addition of Posey? Injuries maybe?...There's alot of excuses, but what do you think happened exactly?...Or did the Hornets just overachieve last season? Want to know Hornets fans thoughts...

Now, especially after this loss, can anyone please answer this question...what are your thoughts? cause no matter how good this denver team is now, the Hornets of last season would have at least taken them 7 games

It seems like their two-man attack is just too predictable... Paul does a good job of getting others involved but there are times when he just had to push the tempo and go it alone, if it means hogging the ball and chucking up shots a la Kobe Bryant at times then so be it.

With David West... He is what he is but I think that teams have caught on to how mechanical he is.

Yeah similar to what I was thinking..perhaps CP3 and West emergence took the league by surprise but now they are ready for it, CP3 is still great, but seems like the rest of the team can't get over the hump

Rely too much on Chris Paul and injuries. Gonna need to add some reliable depth and pray for good health next season and beyond.

The Hornets just need a couple of guys who can create on offense, and a return to health. After watching the Nuggets struggle through the playoffs with Melo facing a similar defense throughout the years, it is obvious that this team has the same problem that they did. Maybe they can get Pargo or someone similar off the bench, and add in a good wing that can do a little of everything. With those the team is much better overall.

Just about sum it up. The injuries took a toll on key players. And with their finances tied up to Stojakovic and Chandler, getting more players who can really help out the Hornets has been very difficult. Unless they can find a way to alleviate that issue. The Hornets will be in the same hold as they are facing now.

could a trade for david west possibly be in the books?...i mean he is a very good player, but he's too outside for an inside player for a title caliber team I feel

Why doesn't anyone know the Hornets are really injured in the starting lineup and already had a terrible bench? It's like we were at full health and took this tumble.
