Message to Brett: please hang it up and hold onto your last shred of dignity. You're done.

Very curious. If he was going to retire he could have remained on the reserve/retire list and didn't need to be released.

I have a feeling someone in purple and gold is giving him a call right about now.

I would enjoy kicking Favre's ass twice.

QFT.

I seriously, 100%, hope he returns to the Queens. Green Bay vs Brett and Minnesota at Lambeau would be too good for words. I don't even want to think about it. I'll just be more disappointed when he stays retired.

Winner.

Boy, beat out by Mark Sanchez and Kellen Clemens. Look how far we've fallen in such a short period of time.

I doubt anything transpires. I'd be disappointed if he did it though.

The next step for Cook? He’ll start pestering Bevell and Childress to start pestering Brett to provide the final piece for one of the most talented teams in NFL history at every position except the one that counts the most.

That's from PFT. I barfed in my mouth a little. I'm lying, I barfed in my mouth a lot. Lost a lot of respect for Florio on top of it.

I read that same quote. I hope somebody reminds Florio of this quote when it's stupidity is exposed.

And I really hope the Queens do waste their time on Favre. He's not even a better option than Sage Rosenfels at this point.

You had any in the first place? He runs the biggest joke of a sports website on the net.

No, I had little respect to start. That was the end of it. That's the worst I've seen from him. I'm a NFP guy all the way, but I'll read PFT once in awhile. I'm addicted to the NFL and everything about it, can't help it. Sometimes NFP just isn't enough.

My name is Aaron Prigge, and I'm addicted to football.

Wasn't there stipulations that would effect the Jets if Favre went to the Vikings, or was that only if he was traded to them?

If the jets traded him to the vikings, we would receive a ton of 1sts. I think it's 3, I could be wrong. But since he was released, we get nothing if he signs with the queens

That would suck huh? **** Favre. I hated him always. Never appreciated any thing he ever did for us. **** him. **** Lombardi too. **** Reggie.(tho it would suck if he signs with the Vikings)

You can take his you-know-what out of your mouth now.

If he really does that I think pigs might fly.

He is too bitter to come back. Just like all of the fans that jumped ship to the Jets--oh wait...

No one on this board didn't like him the first 15-ish years of his career. I appreciate it all. But there are millions of signs pointing to the fact that the guy wanted to play for our biggest rival the past 3-4 years. Now he's got his chance.

I agree

I think the odds of Favre playing again are extremely small and that i'm glad about. I don't care for what all went down over that whole offseason, but i was over it a long time ago and the last thing i'd want to see is anything more to happen that brought even more bitterness between the franchise and one of the most important Packer players in it's history.

It's pretty sad IMO that so many Packer fans now seem to wish bad things on a player that did so much for the franchise even if Brett did act petty. The ironic thing is many of those same fans who still hold this big grudge against Favre for his petty behavior by him not being able to get over Ted wanting to move in a different direction, those same fans are doing much of the same by holding a petty grudge and not being able to get over what Favre did.

Yeah, I'd just rather he not play for the Vikes.

The Pack could have an 11-5 year but lose to Minnesota twice even though Favre is having another off-year with the Queens going 8-8 and the playoff chatter would just be bickering between fans.

There is a small chance that Favre could turn in a successful year but then some Packer "fans" would find themselves cheering for the Vikings during the playoffs(not me).

In other words, the world would explode.
