derrick ward vs chris brown

who will be a better fantasy Surprise back this year?

ward replaces jacobs who is injured for 3-5 weeks, while chris brown is looking like the starter on his team....thoughts?

Chris Brown... Surprise?

I wouldn't call it a surprise as in "I'm surprised he ran for that many yards". He's always had that. He's always had the explosiveness and that deceptive speed, despite his upright running style. He's always had the potential to do this well.

I would call it a surprise as in "I'm surrpsied he's healthy this week". This guy just cannot stay off the injury list, and although he's running a bit lower this year, he's still running relatively upright compared to the other RBs in the league. It's a matter of time before another injury takes him, IMO.

But yes, as long as he's healthy, Chris Brown is miles ahead of Ward.
