Jamario Moon is out indefinitely with a groin/abdominal strain, leaving his status for Wednesday's Game 5 in doubt.
"He's ready to take a shot of anything to get out there and play," said coach Eric Spoelstra. "But we are going to be very judicious and make sure that we have his health, first and foremost." James Jones has been effective as a starter, but Miami's bench is wearing thin and managed just two points in a loss on Monday.

Lets take the energy we played with in Miami and bring it back to our home floor. Sure, Wade and Beas missed shots that they'd usually make but James Jones had the game of his career. If we play D like we did last game, we're doing what he have to do to win.

the longer this series goes on. the better the hawks chances get.

Why? Because Joe Johnson can not possible average 13 ppg forever. Miami's players have all gone off on the hawks once or twice this series. Whether it be Cook or James turning into Ray Allen or O' Neal making Horford his girlfriend.

odds are sooner or later, some oen on the hawks will ahve a big game.

Sounds like Wade is still hurting...his back is giving him problems, unless he gets better fast, you guys should be able to pull this out.....As i put on the GB,

Hawks Team > Heat Team
Hawks Closer(JJ) < Heat Closer(Wade)

The only way the Heat win is if Wade carries us, if his injured, then you guys pull it out....

We need to make a statement in this game. We let game 2 slip away with lack of enrgy, execution, and weak approach mentality. I hope we can feed off the crowd, as I'll be there.
By the way, is Ticketmaster the only way to get tickets for these playoff games? I was checking and didn't really like the price range for where I want to seat. Thanks in advance.

I was at games 1 and 2, so I will save some $$$ and attend either game 7 of this series or games 3/4 against Cleveland if we get that far.

Try Atlanta Hawks Ticket Exchange:

Watch the $30 dollar tickets that are for sale on it because ticketmaster still has $20 seats left. Not sure how much your looking to spend or how much profit the people on the ticket exchange are trying to make. So, I recommend you just compare with what ticketmaster has.

I don't think anyone on Miami besides maybe JO for a couple games has produced at or greater than the level they did in the regular season. Both teams have been dreadful at times on the offensive end this series. So I don't know about this statement.

I don't think either team has played their best game yet.

Wish I was down there and able to go to the game.

I was at the game 2 vs. Miami in the 93-94 playoffs. The Grant Long-Duane Ferrell fight and ensuing crowd energy was crazy that night.

James Jones and Cook have definetly played thier best possible game. Or does James jones single handedly lead 20 point comebacks that frequently during the regular season?

O'neal has been playin like he is in his prime not like the washed up scrub he has been the last couple of seasons.

TNT's preview on Inside the NBA consisted of an interview with D Wade about his back and 10 seconds of sound from Udonis Haslem. Not one mention of the Hawks. Hilarious.

If thats the thought, I guess Josh Smith has played his best possible game in game 1 with all the runout dunks. And I guess Zaza Pachulia has played his best possible game, when will he ever get 12 points and 18 boards again.

Seriously, its not that unreasonable to say that overall, both teams have not played their best game yet.

If it wasn't for Wade we'd probably have spent most of the series on NBA TV, so I can understand the coverage disparity. Can't let it get to you.

I'm having a little trouble buying into all the talk about Wade's back. I doubt we see another poor performance like game 4 from Wade. Hawks need to bring their A games and not rely on bad things happening to the Heat.

I get that. And really it doesn't bother me all that much. I'm just pointing it out. I don't think I've ever seen one of their game previews that didn't even bother mentioning one of the teams before.

^^^^ It shouldn't be necessary, but if the team wanted a little extra motivation they can play the "being ignored" card. It's a form of disrespect.

At this point I think both teams need to stop looking for motivation and just play hard, I think thats why we haven't had a close game yet in this series. It was like first the Hawks had to punch the Heat in the mouth to wake them up, then vice versa. I wanna see both teams come to play for once, instead of all this ugly basketball.

I'm getting even more worried now that the line is jumping. It started out Atlanta being favored to win by 4 and now it's up to 6. It was the same during game 4 for Miami.

The articles are rather entertaining. It's being so dramatized and Wade's looking for that feel good story if he drops 50 on us tonight because the media will really eat that up. I can see it now "What A Warrior: Back injury doesn't hold Wade back from scoring 50"

Return to Atlanta Hawks
