If Harpring is Healthy this off season, maybe trade his expiring contract for someone younger with a few years left on their contract that can fill a need?

The Sheik wrote:Jason Kapano also got that money coming off a career year. You cant say that for Korver.

And that money also came from Toronto, a team that has to overpay free agents to get them there. It's not a valid comparison for a number of reasons.

That would be great if Korver got a three year, 18 mill contract. It would mean he wouldn't be playing for the Jazz.

Harpring retiring is sad, but it is incredibly beneficial to the Jazz. I could see us siging some good free agent without his salary and Boozer's salary.

Someone, please make Korver and Boozer leave, and do it quick!

Harpring stays and I'm ok with that. He really won me over with his play this season. I still think Miles and Brewer could learn something from him.

Don't count him out yet.

The Trib is reporting today that he is staying for at least one more year. He won't require any surgery during the offseason, so it will alone him to rest a little more than normal.
