Ben Gordon? That is the LAST person we need. We NEED defense and he is a terrible defender. Now Okafor or Lee... That would be two players to go after.

You think we need defence but you want David Lee?

Pretty much impossible to assess our needs until we know who opts out and who doesn't. We might end up with an entirely new team, or virtually the same roster.

If Boozer doesn't opt out I think we should try a trade with Cleveland along the lines of Boozer for Hickson and West. Not sure what we'd have to throw in to make contracts work and all that.

I don't think Cleveland would want him back. At least the fans wouldn't.

Yeah the Cavs fans still hate Boozer but that's not the reason Cleveland won't trade for him. Gordon Gund(the blind former majority owner of the Cavs when Boozer signed with the Jazz) still owns a small stake in the team and Danny Ferry/Dan Gilbert would not trade for Boozer out of respect for Gund.

Detroit would be a better trade partner for Boozer since they are way under the cap and could take on Boozer's salary without sending back a big contract.
