I have yet to see anyone project him as a 2. His ball handling and outside shot is drastically underwhelming if he is a 2

I snuck a peak at the Wolves draft board and the top 5 are griffin, rubio, harden, evans, and thabeet. So we're guaranteed to get one of those 5.

Unless you get the 6-8 picks...

I don't see the point of labeling DeRozan as a 2 or a 3 in the T-Wolves' offense. Unless I'm missing something big, they both pretty much do the same things. The label only really matters on the defensive end, and from what I've seen, he should be able to guard either.

Demar is the 3rd best player available in the draft. It probably won't be evident until the end of this groups second year but it is the truth. Griffin, Rubio and Demar are the only players in the draft who have the ability to make the impact we need, regardless of position. Harden, Evans and Thabeet are good players too, but in the long run behind the top three. With that being said, the Wolves will probably trade to grab Jordan Hill.

I seriously doubt we'll take Jordan Hill.

we'll never get a pick lower than 5th, I don't care if there's a mathematical chance, I'm guaranteeing it won't happen. In fact if there's any human, god, or other entity capable of effecting the pick that's listening: I dare you to give us a pick lower than 5th, I freakin' dare you. You know what? You don't have the stones.

I am completely on board with taking DeRozan with our first pick. If we walk away with DeRozan and Holiday from this draft, I will be extremely satisfied. In regards to DeRozan being a 2 or a 3, I think he can play either position. He's a little small for the small forward position, but he's athletic enough to be effective there. His handle needs to improve, everyone knows that but if it does the guy will be a player in this league. Outside of Rubio and Griffin, I don't see another player with more upside or even someone who gives us considerably more then what DeRozan will from day one.

He's one of my favorite prospects this draft too but I doubt we draft him.
