Artest: Roy Is Better Offensive Player Than Kobe Or LeBron

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Thu Apr 30, 2009 3:47 pm

Artest has to be the most dumbest player in the league today.
I met him in Sac town and the minute I met this guy I knew either he was a bleeeep bleep baby, or his mom dropped him a few times actually a lot of times when she breast feed him up to the age of 5.

I dont know if you guys saw his interview, but he went off talking about how he feels that Roy is a better player than both Kobe and Lebron, then he starts talking about some kid from his HOOOD name Mikeie Mike or JumpShot Jamal that had game and he was the best player he ever played against until recently when the Rockets played Portland.

"I think Barkleys overrated and his too small"
"MJ said he wished he could play against me"

Gee Ron how soon you forgot that Kobe TORCHED YOUR ASS with your team and you couldnt even stop him from tearing your ass with half court shots when the shot clock was running out.

Some players well actually idiots like Salt Lake Tribune and Ron Artest just dont know when to STH up when it comes to Kobe as we witnessed by SLT writing an article on how Brewer shut down Kobe.
While the Giant Slept" ... was the first to drop his bombs on Pearl Harbor and "wake the sleeping giant"

Okay Ray Ray, you just dont know when to STH up.

Ron Artest was interviewed by TNT's Craig Sager at Houston's Wednesday practice and spoke to how good Brandon Roy is on the offensive end.

"Roy is probably the best player I've played against," said Artest. "He's the best shooting guard, not on defense now, defense is kind of suspect, but he's the best player I've played against."

Artest was then asked if he thinks Roy is better than LeBron James or Kobe Bryant.

"He's the best player I've played against," said Artest

Guys you need to give him a pass on this. Barkley and Webber and Kenny were laughing at him and it's not right imo. He is mentally ill. We all know that he is mentally ill literally. I don't mean this as a diss I mean it's like making fun of a real handicapped person. Just leave this alone.

I really don't think he was serious. Ron is a funny dude. He's crazy, but he's pretty funny.

Sure Ron's a moron in some situations, but he's actually pretty sharp in others.

He was just pumping up Roy b/c he's Ron's current opponent. If Ron gets torched by Roy, its cool, b/c according to Ron, Roy is the GOAT, lol. If Ron shuts Roy down, hey look at me!!! I just shot down the GOAT.

Ron knew exactly what he was saying, in this instance.

The comment on Barkley being overrated, that was purely for comedic value. Damn was it funny, even Barkley couldn't keep a straight face.

They couldn't keep a straight face because of the comment about the best player named something in jail. then they made fun of his face because he looked so crazy. He wasn't being stratigic or funny he is insane.
You guys can't tell by looking into his eyes that there is something wrong with him mentally? None of you guys are into physcology to much?
Think about it, he barely knows right from wrong, he took games off without telling people to promote his rap album and didn't realize it was wrong. He had to be told when he was on the Bulls he can't work at Circut city. He is mentally ill.
Come on guys just think about it and watch the video again and look at his eyes

There is def something not right with Artest. He rarely makes eye contact almost looking away with a nervous tick or something. His memory depth is def short term. He's also seems a lot softer, almost self-conscious than he used to be, he used to be just a mean lion out of a cage. He needs to lose weight he can't hang with the elites anymore on D, he's not quick enough. Battier>Artest.

I was just gonna bring that up to.
Crazy people often have a problem making eye contact. It's a sign of serious self conscious to the point of paranoid and crazy with extreme anxiety. That actually could be why he took the offense on Charles. Duba I don't know how it seems so obvious to me and U but some don't see it. I was feeling so bad the whole time for him. Mentally illness is horrible.

And as for the Barkley comment players don't do that. they don't call hall of famers overrated an insult them unless there friends and it's a joke or it's an obvious joke and they say just kidding or at least smile. Artest didn't smile.

Battier over Artest? Hell yes.

I am so glad we didn't trade for him. I wouldn't want him on the Lakers unless we lost alot of talent. I don't like him being near Kobe all the time. He could hurt him in practice or something. He did brake MJ's ribs.

What was so crazy about saying Barkley is overrated? I like Charles as an "analyst", but once he starts talking about defense or how to win championships I tune his fatass out. Barkley's biggest attribute on D probably was his fatass anyway.

Also, fareweatherfan might be right, because when Craig asked "are you just saying that because he's your oponent," Artest smiled for a moment, then turned serious again.

Theory: He probably wasn't making eye contact because he was lying.

DUN DUN DUN!!!

Though I really do enjoy star24 lecturing the board on psychology, let alone any academic subject. I've been thoroughly entertained.

Roy's a great player but obviously this statement is ridiculous. If the Rockets do manage to get by the Blazers, the comment is even more stupid considering the Rockets will be matched up against Kobe and the Lakers.

A. I minored in psych in undergrad, so there you have it

B. Taking games off to promote your rap album is pure GENIUS!! Its the best promoting of the album he ever did. And you question our ability to psycho analyze, lmao.

Thank you Ron...

Joking or not, you just garunteed that you're getting owned in round 2....

What're the odds that Kobe completely ruins Ronnie's rep as a good defender?
