Would you guys trade for Greg Oden?

Everybody is calling him a bust and his value is the lowest it's ever gonna be. The reality is he has never played healthy and has been successful up until now. He is averaging blocks with good D plus 8 points 8 boards after microfracture and he is in his rookie year.
He could still easily turn into the player people thought he was gonna be.

I would think about trading Mek for him for the future. I probably wouldn't but I would be tempted.

haha... i wouldnt trade anything for that dirty ohio state piece of garbage. at least he only spent 1 year at that cesspool, so the taint isnt as bad.

5 things i wouldnt trade for greg oden

1. dontell jefferson's ear wax collection
2. emeka okafor's favorite motivational tape (VHS) "who farted?" narrated by steve guttenberg from police academy.
3. raymond felton's half eaten can of vienna sausages
4. gerald wallace's hemorrhoids
5. sean may's pizza stained undershirts

the same also applies to michael redd, mike conley, that dude from the jazz, jimmy jackson and any other cheating criminal from ohio state.

Dex, I can see where you're going on this one, but Oden's remaining upside potential is worth more than his salary now to the Blazers, so they wouldn't consider trading him for anything other than (maybe) this year's #1 pick, or a proven quality young center at similar $. His situation is slightly similar to McMay, but with more invested, less baggage, and more hope than our tub o' lazy player.

I told Blazer fans like a month ago that they should trade Oden while he still had value and they all flamed me. Funny thing is that they think they can get superstars for him when after another injury he'll be a more disappointing McMay clone. I could see him getting traded in a year or so, but not this soon.

Nobody is giving the Blazers a superstar for Oden.
