Some of you are terrible fans. Really, we are blaming Doc? A 3 OT game and we have to assign blame. If Rondo hit that last shot would anyone here have said, we won but Doc screwed up?

Who *ever* wants Rondo to take a big jumper? I love the kid but he has demonstrated he couldn't hit a barn with that jumper (he needs to work on it)...while Ray was hitting everything in sight. Common sense, really...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

A triple OT wouldn't have been necessary. Having a ice cold Tony Allen coming in for defensive purposes in a electrifying playoff thriller and ending up clueless about what to do with the ball on 2 possessions really cost the Celtics the game.

Really, Doc Rivers cost you guys the game on several occasions.

I think it's more on Rondo than Doc. Rondo decides who gets the ball most of the time, not Doc. Rondo brought the ball up the court slowly, and pounded the ball before making the initial pass, so that we were always late in the shot clock before we got a shot off. If Rondo had been his regular aggressive drive and kick self, Ray would have probably seen the ball more. Pierce is also partially to blame for demanding the ball in those situations, when he's feeling woozy, but Rondo needs to lead the team and keep getting the ball to Ray.

Ray is a godsend. The guys is just nasty. Definitely the best shooter in the leage today and probably top 3 ever. I like how his game is so natural. He doesn't usually force things. That's good and bad. It's good that he just lets the game come to him and not make silly mistakes. However, sometimes he's a little passive when it comes to demanding the ball. If he knows that he's the only Celtic to be able to hit shots consistently while others are struggling, he should try harder to make himself known to Rondo that he wants the ball. All he needs is a simple screen for a split second...and BANG 3-pointer.

Bulls fan here. Ray Allen is the best pure shooter I have ever seen. I think the only one comparable in history is Larry Bird. Just curious to how you would rank the following 3 shooters: Ray Allen, Larry Bird, Reggie Miller?
