I still think we win tomorrow night and I will root like hell. It's sickening that some idiots on here (not you, but some others!) are saying ANY criticism is not being a "real fan"...simply moronic...
Honestly guys I didnt mean you cause you guys are regualr posters that I have witnessed and seen your support for your team for a while now. I was talking about a group of individuals that claim to be loyal fans yet they only showup when you guys are winning and they are always around bashing your team, players etc when your losing.
I have been a fan of the Lakers since I was 9 and Im now 38 years old. I have witnessed my team high and lows, last year when Kobe decided he wanted to leave LA, I told myslef skipem HE IS NOT LA, he is a good player playing for one of the best franchises in Basketball.
Like I always say its not the name on the back of the Jersey its that name in the front that I root for.
Now I agreed with Kobe and he's concerns about where this teams direction was heading.
I hated loosing to scrubs like the Suns, Portland etc, and believe me, yet somewhere somehow I felt that Org will step up and make this team better. When we lost to you guys last year, I didnt hate my team nor was I disappointed in our loss, I felt that the better team one and hopefully we will reunite and build a better team and stepup and bring the title back to LA.
You guys are the defending champs and you guys enjoyed last years success and you did really well this year until K.G inury.
Noone should be blamed for the problems or issues that you guys are facing today...... Ish happens and you have to adapt and deal with it, but I find it odd that some peps not everybody but some peps on here are bashing players and Doc for what has happened to you guys late in the season, it just proves who are the loyal and true fans and who are the Bandwagoners that are only around when things are good.
Anyhow, like I said before I wish that you guys still had the same Cs team that played us last year since it was an amazing season last year the way the two teams playing in regular season and the finals between our two teams was something from the past.
You guys won we lost, and like I said before I wished we met you guys again in this years finals so that we could woop your arse this year and take back the title from you guys, but its still to early to say who will be and who wont be in the finals.
All I know is that a lot can happen, and no matter what I would never give up on my team. Never, unless my team gives up on their own and it doesnt look like you guys are doing that.

Re: The most STUPID team ever?
We're all hurting after this one, but I'm not going to call my team stupid. There's was a ton of blame to go around and the Bulls played great as well. Noah's steal was amazing, even if it was compounded by Paul's brain fart. The ironic part is that if Paul had just put his head down he probably would have gotten fouled or at least made a layup (there was an opening to the basket). It's ironic because Paul spent most of the end of regulation and the overtimes putting his head down and taking shots when others were open...but then, when he finally makes the RIGHT play, Noah cuts him off and wins the game. Ironic to say the least. Sometimes you can't win.
I still don't understand the hate on TA and I don't think I ever will. Has there ever been a least deserving scape goat? The Bulls are in this series because we can't defend them. I say play TA more and bench House. Nobody's talking about it, but House has sucked this postseason. Can't get open, can't hit a shot when he is open, can't get behind the 3 point line when he does get open and does hit a shot, and can't keep the likes of Hinrich from driving to the hoop on him. You know him and Marbury were the guards on the floor when we went from 4 to 12 down at the beginning of the 4th, right? That those two couldn't get good shots, or, in House's case, play even decent defense? But the Internet explodes with reactionary insanity because TA takes two shots he ABSOLUTELY had to take because the shot clock was running down. Nobody wants to remember how he shut down Salmons in the 3rd quarter and Gordon in the 4th...they just want to scape goat him. Makes me embarrassed to share my fandom with such reactionary morons.
BOTTOM LINE OF BOTTOM LINES: we'll advance if we play defense. Our best defensive players should play. As such, TA should be the primary backup at 2/3 for game 7. If he is, I think we'll pull it out. Give him 10 minutes in the first half to spell Paul and Ray and then bring him in as needed in the 4th. House is a situational offense/defense specialist tomorrow night, nothing more. Marbury only plays when Rondo needs to sit.

I don't know why the hell the C's don't go to Ray Allen in the final seconds. They always do this. Ray is on fire and they don't feed him when it counts. There was that one play where Pierce (who looked tired as hell) was trying to win the game, instead of having Ray do the honors. Seriously. Ray's like the silent assassin. You hardly know he's there, but he's raining 3's like crazy. I didn't even know he had almost 30 points at the end of the first half. He just slips by. Ray should and DESERVES to see these many shot attempts. He's too good to be only limited 14 a game.

Is Rondo hurt? He was walking all the game that's the only explanation. I can't see his speed last night

Can someone explain to me where has it all gone wrong? What has happened to this team? Did they all fall on their heads in the summer?
Totally agree. Ray has 51 points and on TWO final possessions where we could have won the game, he is not taking the shot.
We deserve to lose this series for being so stupid.

Re: The most STUPID team ever?
The only time this team has looked remotely like the normal C's was in Game 3.
Pierce goes off early...the whole team plays with purpose on defense and we win going away on the road.
These other games we let the Bulls shoot too many open jumpers, let them penetrate and drive to the hoop for layups and dunk, and we make silly fouls on 3 point shots....then they get their confidence up and believe they can win.
But the C's have game 7 at home and they're gonna have to decide are they going to play defense or are they going to try and get 4 to 5 players to score 20 points?

Re: The most STUPID team ever?
I agree with most here that this team is really dumb. Aren't we supposed to be a veteran team when it comes to crunch time?
Dumb moment:
1. We used almost all the 24s clock time only to come up with a PP jumper? Hell, the whole world knew what we were gonna do. DUMB!!
2. We have 24s clock time, but this time we rushed the shot with a cold Rondo? Is that your best play in your book Doc? DUMB!!
3. PP, with no chance of stopping Noah, had to fould him because he's tired? For a veteran player, that's DUMB!!
4. BB was hot and yet Doc took him out for Tony Allen and surely enough, Allen ended up doing his signature bonehead plays.
I hope to God that Doc develop Walker and Giddens sooner because we gonna need them for scoring next year for sure.
We went all the way to #17 last year with "TOUGH DEFENSE".
This year, we will go all the way down with "**** DEFENSE".

Doc is not the one out there making obvious, dumb plays. The players own it.

Is is so pathetic that people blame Doc. Is it Doc's fault Rondo bricked 2 FT's Is it Doc fault that PP made a TO then compounded the problem by fouling Noah and fouling out himself? Is it Doc's fault that PP cannot cover Salmons?
Doc is playing with a 6 man team now because the bench sucks. He is doing all he can. At some point the players need to take responsibility for what happens on the floor.

This ^. Pure genius of a post right here.
I don't think people are really looking critically at some of basic coaching mistakes Doc is making right now. Here are a few of the key mistakes in a nutshell: playing House at the TWO GUARD over Tony Allen, pairing Rondo-Marbury (when Marbury clearly struggles with developing rhythm when he's not the primary ballhandler), subbing OUT Davis when you need to get buckets at the end of the game (he creates offensive mismatches when the Bulls go small + he's not afraid to take big shots), failing to initiate Rondo early in game 6 (bread and butter for the team until this game for some odd reason), and insisting on, the simplistic and easy to attack for the opponent, Pierce's top of the key ISO. To focus on just one of these below:
Playing House when he's played atrocious in the series. Due to House's lack of defense (overall athleticism) and inability to find any daylight offensively it's like playing 4 on 5 when House is on the court. With Tony Allen you get STELLAR individual defense. Sure he makes mistakes on this end but he's all over the guy he's guarding 99% of the time he's defending. A very disruptive player. When House's shot isn't falling he makes no impact, in truth this is actually compounded by the fact that he's probably the worst defensive TWO GUARD in the NBA.
If Doc does as ryaningf says: to play Tony in the second quarter over House, to ONLY use Marbury to give Rondo a breather (he's a F** POINT GUARD DOC!!!!!)... then the team will likely win. At least if Doc doesn't fall victim to some of the other mistakes I listed above.
P.S. I think it's overly simplistic to say it's all the coaches fault because there is definitely a balance that leans heavily toward the players in terms of importance... I agree that the players are ultimately responsible. But if the coach makes the right calls (or the wrong ones) he can tip the scales toward his team or the opponent. And there's one thing for sure, these are two evenly matched teams.

yep. Ryaningf definitely nailed it. The Bulls play 2 point guards, so Doc plays 2 point guards, the Bulls go small, so Doc goes small. Monkey see, Monkey do, is not a coaching strategy.
