As has been mentioned, it appears that a coach no longer with the team is the one who apparently spread around that Meredith was difficult to work with. I'm guessing that's what he's alluding to with, "Karma is a bitch."

"We had multiple coaches tell us, even the strength coach, that he was kind of a pain in the (expletive)," a personnel director for an AFC team said this week. "He's not a lazy kid. He's not a bad kid. They said he's just kind of a bitcher and a moaner at times."

A scout for another AFC team said some of the Gamecocks' coaches described Meredith as "a locker-room lawyer." An NFC team representative was told that Meredith lacked passion for football.

"No, they were very supportive," Thompson said, referring to Spurrier and his assistants. "They talked about how smart he was and how talented he was. Nobody from there ever mentioned anything like that to us."

Someone is b.s.ing here.

"He's the type who is going to stand his ground," another scout said. "He's going to say certain things that may not always appeal to certain southern coaches. He was portrayed in a certain light that he shouldn't be portrayed in. Sometimes you give kids the benefit of the doubt."

I thought that was interesting.

Here's more from Jamon's facebook..

Jamon Meredith : I'm in GREEN BAY!!!! I'm lovin it here!!! The fans are great, the atmosphere is great, the tradition is great, and believe it or not, but even the media is "player friendly." The coaches here are SO POSITIVE and I've never experienced this before... Everything happens for a reason and I truly believe God sent me here... Im so blessed and thankful to be a Green Bay Packer!!!

It is refreshing to see someone have their dreams come true. It is even better for their dreams to come true alongside the Green Bay Packers. Congratulations to Jamon.

nice but grown women don't have facebooks, just college kids and creepy old guys who spy on them.

I'll tell you what the team I worked for had on Meredith:
--doesn't like to be challenged or questioned, one of those people who is always right and has to have the last word
--more intelligent than he lets on
--very heavy-footed and lacks lateral agility to handle speed
--when motivated is an exceptional in-line run blocker
--extremely strong upper body and hands
--doesn't move his feet when he's engaged, costs him leverage and balance
--often comes straight up from his stance in pass protect, but can recover quickly

We had him with a 4th-5th round grade as a guard with some potential to play RT in a power run system. He really seems like a misfit for the 4-WR attack. I liked Barbre better when he came out.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Very incorrect, I know many normal women in their 30s, 40s, etc. who are on facebook.
