a career minor leaguer owned us today

CC aka "cant count' on me sabathia just not getting it done, he didnt pitch BAD, but 120 pitches and not getting thru the 7th is very inefficient

Mark Busteria, move him down the order, hes beyond bad right now

not suprising.. but if we can win tomorrow that will be 3 out of 4 games.. I will take that.... But we always struggle vs these average Joe type pitchers..

I agree, CC and TEx are just not producing.. Again, I just hate these mega buck FA signings.... How often have they worked for us?

yea they dont have that yankee pride...look at tex, he hoodwinked (LIED) us into believing hed get off to a fast start this year by claiming he and Long had worked extra hard

CC just is realizing hes back in the AL

^^I wouldn't say he lied. Every player hopes to start the season on a high note, I wouldn't have expected him to say that he worked out with Long but is still unsure if he's gonna come out blazing at the start of the season. Of course he's gonna say he's gonna start great this year, is the politically correct thing to say.

He'll pick it up eventually, but, he's still overrated..

What do you expect Tex to say? "Yeah I'm going to get off to the same slow start like I have the last 5 years."

If he couldn't get off to a fast start last year during his contract year (when he probably worked extra hard to get off to a quick start), I'd be very surprised if he got off to a quick start this year (or any other year for that matter).
