OT: Roger Mason kills the Suns

I'd take Roger over DeShawn any day. Roger's a professional, DeShawn's just an embarrassment to the franchise at this point. I'm hoping he can get some sort of groove back next season since he will be playing beside Gil again.

Nobody is going to take DeShawn Stevenson at this point because of those back injuries (especially if the Wiz doctors operated on him) and the longer contract. The plus side with Mason is if he doesn't work out with San Antonio is that he's a free agent in 2010.

But if Mason's shot isn't falling, he has no advantage over a healthy Stevenson. Stevenson is certainly a better defender and for what it's worth, and get more assists and rebounds per 40 minutes than Mason.
