phx/no Blockbuster
This works for both teams. Here is the trade checker link:
http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5051967
Phoenix trades:
Amare Stoudemire
Steve Nash
Shaquille O'Neil
New Orleans trades:
Chris Paul
David West
Tyson Chandler
Peja Sojakovic
Mo Peterson
Phx line up;
PG CP3, Goran Dragic
SG Jason Richardson, Leandro Barbosa, Mo Peterson
SF Grant Hill, Peja Stojakovic, Barnes or Tucker (one has to go)
PF David West, Louis Amundson, Jared Dudley
C Tyson Chandler, Robin Lopez, Stromile Swift
N.O. line up
PG Steve Nash, Antonio McDaniels
SG Rasual Butler, Devin Brown
SF Julian Wright, James Posey
PF Amare Stoudemire, Melvin Ely, Ryan Bowen
C Shaq, Hilton Armstrong, Sean Marks
Why for Phoenix? Mainly CHRIS PAUL! Also this makes them younger and tougher which they desperately need. Makes up for some poor past drafts.
Why for New Orleans? No brainer here. You get the most famous player to ever come out of Louisiana to come home and finish his career. (with an expiring contract!) You get a young stud all star in Amare and you get Nash to dish it to them. They get rid of their bad contracts and retain Hilton Armstrong and Julian Wright. This trade gets money off the books quicker and fills more seats in the arena.

People do realize that Shinn and Byron laughed at the idea of trading Paul?
They wouldn't trade Paul alone for Nash, Shaq, and Stoudemire.

Re: phx/no Blockbuster
This might be one of the dumbest trade proposals ive seen recently.
Chris Paul is one of very few players in this league thats untouchable.... the only players that can get Paul out of New Orleans are Lebron James, Dwight Howard, and Dwyane Wade....

The Suns are old and missed the playoffs.
The Hornets are young and made the playoffs.
Makes sense that the Suns would want to swap rosters.

Silly trade. Good for Suns but a bit of a head scratcher for you guys.
But what ya'll think about all that talk about Chandler for Shaq? Someone from the Suns board proposed
Shaq/Charlotte 2nd for Chandler/Daniels/First.

Why would you guys trade Paul for?
I mean the dude is prob top 3 point guard in the league right now. Why trade him?
LOL I would say NO for NOH

Trading the best PG in the league for a bunch of aging players and another that gets hurt every year. I don't think its happening. No way in hell. A pipe dream for Suns fans.

Re: phx/no Blockbuster
^^ What they said
In relation to Shaq for Chandler: If it gets us under the lux tax (with Phoenix taking any two of MoPete/Posey/Daniels) then it sounds good.
Chandler may be just about history in the NBA, I know its a bit doom n gloom, but the guy is just not healing and may hurt himself worse in the playoffs, so sure we'll take a cameo from Shaq, lux tax avoidance & 20mil off the books after next year for him

To be fair, had we started with Gentry from the start, we would have made the playoffs. We probably would have finished top 4 had we started with Gentry.
The old part is definitely spot on though.

...I'd see if I can get the Suns to bite on a deal centered around West for Amare. Paul and Amare would be a devastating combo.

If they were absolute idiots. Do you people watch the NBA at all? Why don't you ask Cleveland if they would trade LeBron for the #1 pick. Get real.

You just compared Chris Paul to LeBron James...
If PHX were to land the number one pick how could you not consider trading CP3 for Blake Griffin. Griffin and Nash for CP3 and filler (Armstrong?) for positions sake...
