Probable Lineups
Milwaukee Brewers
1. 2B Rickie Weeks
2. SS J.J. Hardy
3. 1B Prince Fielder
4. CF Bill Hall
5. C Johnny Estrada
6. LF Geoff Jenkins
7. RF Corey Hart
8. 3B Craig Counsell
9. P Chris Capuano

Houston Astros:
Guess.

Capuano has been wonderful this season, let's hope he keeps it up. Carlos Lee loves the short porch in houston so we can't give him much to hit. Just play smart and play our game and we should win this one. Go Brewers!

I think Gross (or maybe even Gwynn) and Jenks will start. You want as many lefties as possible.

i think weffpim should put his 'tidbits' or whatever in every thread, that way people can do their own thing in the thread and not feel pressured to come up with funny ****...and people can laugh at them more

-the first 10,000 fans will receive flyers warning fans to be on the look-out for a wanted man believed to be hiding around the ballpark. The flyer warns fans not to approach him and call security, he is in violation of a restraining order.

I would like to see Gwynn start a few games here and there. I mean he sure has earned it .

Very good LDD. You guys are more than welcome to create tidbits of your own, but I demand to be trademarked with this symbol:

-Houston manager "scrap Iron" was spotted before the game angrily pulling at unidentified players hands. At this time we are unsure what may have set Phil off and why he was confronting one of his...wait, this just in. The player was Brad Lidge and this is not a story after all.

I agree the guy can play and he always seems to make good contact on the ball. He is going to be great just like his daddy was.

The astros deciede to get ride of all the beer that they sell , and instead only sell minute maid products. Soon after the National guard is called in to stop massive riots, and to protect all the fruit stands that are being attacked. :onfire:

I think everyone is prepping themselves for their all day chatting tomorrow for the draft. Go Brews.

Good Point. Tomorrow is going to be fun. I am purposefuly not going out drinking tonight just so I don't have any hangover feelings tomorrow and can enjoy the draft. I have a feeling by pick ten I will start getting pissed at how slow it is though.

What a stupid mistake by Hart by the way running the bases. He could see Lee in left the whole way to second on Weeks' hit and he gets caught between 2nd and 3rd. So dumb.

Wohoo Brewers win another one off Oswalt. Who would have ever thought the Brewers would be in first and the Pirates would be in second after 22 games. I love this team and I am glad I could carry this thread tonight for all you guys who must be out having a good time. I am kind of jealous I must admit but I am getting older and don't care for hangovers like I used to, especially when I have been looking forward to the draft all week.

Great job ReddBogutCharlieV with the thread. I hope you can get on a similar hot streak like WEF4PIM.

BTW, you should all se this crap Wise is wearing for his post game interview. His arm is wrapped up like a mummy and he even has a thermometer hanging out of the wrap and a timer counting down that is also hanging out of the wrap that runs across his chest. The trainers must be getting really scientific with this stuff.

One last thing, we will at worst be tied for 1st in the NL by the time the night is over and tied for third in the whole MLB. How incredible is that?

Maybe it's just my past with this team, but when they went down 1-0, I had this dreading feeling in my mind that we'd lose a tough one.

But this team has given me new hope. Let's go get 'em boys.

Hardy is my POG with his timely double off Oswalt for two RBIs. I am still iffy about getting excited for this team on the next level for all the grief they put us in the past few years. I think that will be changed after the next few weeks.

Return to Milwaukee Brewers
