I agree about Bynum being schooled by Yao in Game 1 but I think your motherf*cker thing was just being dirty or being a little notorious in the game. The Lakers really don't need that because it's different from basketball.

Not in the play-offs...

Play-off and finals series are won and lost on cut-throat play...

MJ would try to Win the game but he wasn't satisfied until he stole your soul too... Nobody called him dirty.

Hell... Even Magic with all he smiles and no D, had no problem putting a guy on his a$$ to prevent a happy moment for the other team.

Bird might be the all time king of Superstars who weren't afraid to intimidate...

A Championship team can't be content to win ball-games, they need to strive for nothing less than the total humiliation of their oponents...

Boston did that last year... The Cavs are working on it... Hell, the Lakers had it last year too...

Up until we ran into bigger MFs in the finals... We humiliated Utah in a couple of those games...

The Lakers do it for the first 3 quarters and then let the other team back in it...

When we are able to build a 20 point lead on a team by halfitme, we should win that game by 40... That's what Boston did to us...

That's a good post right there, Kilroy The Lakers should read that right before they step onto the court every game.

Interesting read, thanks for the article.

Hmmm I pretty much agree, although, I don't think that Andrew's fouls will hold up with his current lack of ref respect. I think he needs to prove himself for a sustained period of time to get the calls that will allow him to be a punk or at least stop reaching all over the place.

Andrew needs to get healthy and be the player he was before he was injured. I don't think he was having sex with MILFs then though just playboy bunnies.

Too many MPF-Bombs in my opinion BUT i COMPLETELY agree! The Lakers must wake up and humilliate every single team in our way of the trophy. C's whooped us by 36 in the closing Finals game, now if that's not ripping your heart out and then kicking you in the nuts till the game is over then idk what is. Lakers should watch the last quarter of Game 6 in the Finals then read this article before every game, that way we can wake up and whoop some motherf'n ass!

comparing this Lakers team to those Bulls teams is premature and borderline insanity. Look, this team is very good. But they're not unbeatable. I award you no points for that post ... and may david stern have mercy on your soul.

Lakers win tonight by 15. Bynum dominates.

Good read, but the MF/A-Hole list starts at:

Kobe
Fish*
Ariza
Shannon Brown
Vujacic

*Fish earned it tonight.

That's pretty sad when the toughest guys on our team are all guards.

I'd insert LO into that list. He was the one who started the trash talking and bumping with Scola and I was surprised Luke had it in him to jaw with another guy, not to mention his first game after an injury.

Shannon seems too much of a nice guy to me but he got the hops to intimidate anyone though. Right now he's the best shot blocker on our team.

Sasha that dude got balls. I've said it all the time, may be he's just stupid to not anticipate danger and see fear but I remember a play in game 1 where he intentionally switched onto Artest and started bumping him. One fault of his is not realizing his limitations though.

I think Rihanna is to blame for his conditioning on the court. He has expended most of his energy before the games.

You're right...LO has been playing with a chip on his shoulder this year (I remember when he jawed with KG and wouldn't back down from him). I forgot how LO played with some guts tonight because he again missed some key free throws! But I'll give it to him, there's something that smells a little nasty in his game.

Luke...maybe. He does have his moments (didn't he give a hard foul on the Suns after Kobe got taken down by Raja?), but I don't see a consistent nastiness to him at all. I'd like to see him become a little nasty, because it would help his game like the older dudes who play dirty at the ymca.

Maybe they did... :o

Powel certainly has the body... Anybody see any fire in him?

Mbenga...
Bynum when he plays Shaq...

And don't forget, Harper's in everyone's ear, Rambis had fire when he played, Jabar's elbows were legendary, and Phil never shy'd away from a confrontation when he played...

There's a groundwork there for this team to get nice and scrappy... And if they remember what Boston did to them, that's just what they should do...

My fear is that the NBA isn't going to give Kobe and the Lakers the same consideration it gives KG and the Celts, Artest and the Rockets, Bowen and the Spurs, Wallace and the Pistons, etc...
