Dalembert

Post#1 » by amk482 » Wed May 6, 2009 2:29 pm

Looks like Philly be looking to move Dalembert this summer, apparently they tried to trade him at deadline. Seems to me he would be a good fit for OKC (contract not so good), and is similar to Chandler who you basically traded for but rescinded due to injury concerns....

Would expiring contracts and your late # 1 in 2009 get it done? I know you were able to get Chandler just for expirings, but Phillly's move wouldn't necessarily be motivated by $, so Im thinking it would take more than just expirings. Not even sure Philly would do this deal, but int hinking about as an outsider looking in, i dont see how Philly could turn down a # 1 pick.

I'm a bit leery of him, to be honest with you. He hasn't really made much progress in his game over the past few years, has a big contract, and always complains. Maybe he just needs a change of scenery, I don't know.

TThere are a lot better players that you can get for 10+ million, so no.
