But most of all I credit him with the results this team has gotten, as I said in the previous post: 13, 26, 30, 37, 47. . .
But for the life of me I don't see how someone can say that the head coach doesn't bear any responsibility for the success we've been having?
This might muttle the point, but at one point did our litigation and cap limitation end during those record increases. I like to look at wins/losses above all else, but I think the cap limit had the most impact on the team, which makes it hard to judge the coach on those numbers.
I feel have to regulate my evaluation of him to on court mistakes then. Our defense did look good on Wade, but Wade was hurt, and during the regular season our players didn't rotate quickly enough on many occassions. (And I think it's the coach's duty to get the players to a level of understanding and mental capacity that allows them to implement his system.) I see a lot of standing around in an stagnant offense too, and delays in calling timeouts when the momentum shifts. That leaves me thinking that the increase in wins is due to the natural growth of the younger players (fewer, although still many mistakes), the lifting of the cap limitation, and the addition of a starter-level PG (despite his faults).
