I'm sorry that you feel that way, but Kobe was never convicted of rape. In the United States, you are innocent until proven guilty.

It is what it is, a dirty play by a dirty player. You never see Lebron or MJ throw elbows or knee people in the face when the refs aren't watching. Kobe's probably just mad that Lebron won MVP and is on his way to far surpassing what Kobe could only dream of, and took it out on Battier and Artest.

Other than a foul on Yao the officiating wasn't blatantly one-sided, I actually thought it significantly favored the Rockets for a large portion of the game until my homer-colored glasses fell off...

And while I know it's a touchy subject... Kobe was just giving back what Ron Artest was giving out all game long...

At the end of the day as a poster with nothing invested in either team it sure was fun to watch though...

P.S. Sorry about Von, the one bright spot about this is that I've finally convinced the rest of the Nets fans that we don't need him on the team.

I don't think anyone here needs the support of a Kobe fanboy...

You Rockets fans can cry all you want about the refs, but the truth is, the game is not one-sided like many of you think. In fact, for most of the game, the refs actually FAVORED the Rockets by calling the Lakers for touch fouls IMO. Rockets have more free throws than the Lakers, despite LA being more aggressive other than the second quarter. Kobe Bryant, the "Stern's golden boy" as you guys might like to call it, only has 7 free throws.

physical defense is one thing, acting out of order is another.
Find me a video clip of Ron throwing a elbow at Kobe's throat, or get the hell out of this board.

1) it CLEARLY shows that Artest was NUDGING HIS ELBOW against Kobe's THROAT the ENTIRE PLAY before that Kobe elbow.

2) The replay shows that Kobe elbowed the CHEST, NOT THE NECK. You guys just listen to commentary by TNT and believe the comments that favor you guys, pathetic.

3)jzmagik - WTF man? Netsforce was trying to be SYMPATHETIC with you about the Von Wafer issue and the overall experience of the game, which was NOT lobsided one way or the other. There were no attacks whatsoever in that post, and you have to suddenly LASH OUT like that against him? Grow up. That Kobe fanboy comment was COMPLETELY uncalled for, and I will be reporting it to the global moderators.

4) bballmaniac27 - completely rude with the personal attacks. Put blame on your ballhandlers for not being able to protect the ball when they drive, not NBA refereeing every time you lose. It was a close game, and I bet you wouldn't have complained if you won.

Everyone needs a scapegoat, everyone wants to point the finger at someone else, when they fail to acknowledge that the finger should be pointed at themselves.

man, are you blind or something? what Artest did was called physical defense, you think it's bad? maybe so, then it's an defensive foul on him. What kobe did was called THROWING A ELBOW, it could hurt other players. He act beyond the line, thats what it was. I dont believe you actually posted this video and still think Kobe did the right thing. This is purely embarrassing. I would have killed myself if I ever did something THAT stupid.

Is that you Netsforce? I know it is..

Why should anyone put any stock in what Kobe fanboys think? Artest never had his elbow on Kobe's head, and Artest wouldn't complain about getting elbowed in the neck if it didn't happen.

Ooooooh, you're reporting me to the global mods for calling someone a kobe fanboy, I'm so scared now. I actually just got a good laugh out of reading your post, thanks.

Are you done here? You can get out now.

STFU TROLL. The touch fouls were at the end of the game when it didn't matter. Our one go to guy late was ejected for taking an elbow to the throat. Get out of here you lunatic. Imagine if Landry's put back was allowed and imagine if Yao's magic fouls weren't called on him early and he was allowed to play the game. Imagine if Ron Artest got free throws and was aloud to close the game out, instead of being falsley ejected. Imagine if Lowry got a whistle when he drove into the lane and got knocked off his feet. Or if any of the four put backs Landry hand had been whistled correctly. Your team is desperate...dirty plays...paid off refs...and a "superstar" stacked team...and yall are still struggling? I'd be trolling and worried to if I were you. No disrespect, but you and your team are a bunch of b1tches. No disrespect.
