Did you guys see Kobe???

Post#1 » by tha_rock220 » Thu May 7, 2009 9:57 am

Ron Artest ran up to him, and I don't think I've ever seen Kobe so scared. He put his hands up as if to say "please don't hurt me, I just want to be the best player on a champion before I die". Then when Artest was restrained Kobe all the sudden came to life and wanted to get busy.

Go ahead and lock this, I don't give ****. Everything I said is true.

I support you on what your saying man, I agree the situation was a joke and it should of been technical fouls on both players not Ron should not have been tossed. But we need to realize we are playing the most marketable team in the NBA and throughout league history the refs have protected star players. I was surprised Fisher got tossed considering the team he plays for. His reasoning in the post game interview for the foul on Scola was a load of garbage.

What's worse is that after all those cheap shots and trash talks, the guy acts like a nice innocent guy in front of the media.

Let's face it. The dude is going to resort to his cheap shots instead of manning up against Artest. Hell, this is the same guy who got owned by Chris Childs and Reggie Miller.

He's fake and produces to much estrogen in his body, the dude can't handle having the male genitalia.

yeah that was really cheap and Artest had all the reasons in the world to get upset.

But Stern has a master plan, so he'd get the Rondo-treatment on this one.

Kobe didn't have a scared look on his face, he had the feigning-innocence look of someone who'd just successfully baited an ex-con into a felony on camera in front of the police without gaining implication.

I don't think Kobe was scared per se, it was more a "get off me" look.

Lol..I don't think Kobe was scared at the time. He just didn't wanna get a Tech, knowing how intense the game has been. And what a smart play that was. Because a few possessions after kobe got T'd up for taunting. Lol..would've been funny if he was ejected too.

But the point remains, sometimes SOMETIMES when people walk away from the confrontation, it could be to avoid a Tech..could be..

Kobe's smart enough to say that, so are a lot of people actually. Read his face, it says differently. Win by any means. Anyway...

That looks exactly like two rebounders IN postion, with one having to gather himself by bending his knees halfway to the ground in order to fend off the other because he is outmatched by weight and strength. that is also a good position from which to gather the strength to throw an elbow.

you have no argument here.

Pshhhhhh you know what YOUR RIGHT.
How silly of me to think that it was a 250 pound man laying his entire weight on the back of somebody while palming the back of his neck. WOW thanks for clearing that up for me.
For a minute there I thought that was illegal.

^^definately should have been fined for this.... Kobe showing how much of a coward he is trying to cheap shot Battier when hes on the ground...

not to mention the elbow on Artest in game 2.

seeing how Kmart was fined 25k for nudging dirk Im pretty sure Kobe will atleast be fined. No way he gets suspended though, maybe if it was any other player... But no way is Stern gonna suspend one of the most exciting players in the league during the playoffs..

Looked like Kobe's elbow was too low to hit him in the neck.

The elbow only reached his upper chest,.. then Artest faked it
and grabbed his neck,.. watch closely and see Artest try to "Sell"
it as a blow to his neck.

then why did kobe all the sudden want to fight artest as soon as the refs broke them up???

kobe has never been the best player on a champion, and this year if the lakers win it that wont change. stern will have been la's best player.
