LETS GO ROCKETS from a Knicks fan

Post#1 » by NYKStreet » Thu May 7, 2009 1:45 pm

Hey Rockets Fans,

Just wanted to wish you guys GREAT luck in your series against the Lakers. I think you guys can really pull this series win off. I LOVE Ron Artest (ever since his St. Johns days, I wanted the Knicks to take him instead of . . . Fredrick Weis, ugh).

Beat those LA Fakers into the ground.

Artest and Battier have the toughness and will to make Kobe want to take these games into his own hands, and when Kobe does that, his team suffers (see the 2006 Lakers).

I love how Artest is bringing back the Anthony Mason style of shaving logos into his head.

GO ALL OUT FOR YOUR HOME GAMES. YOU CAN DO THIS.

Thanks man! Personally I'd like to do it as a knock in the face to Sterny boy and Kobe more than anything else.

Sick of seeing series get rigged left and right, and Kobe's just a punk.

(As we saw in the game last night though, if the NBA doesn't want us to win, we have to be damn near perfect. When you can't even make a simple basket without having the points recalled, you know you have a lot to overcome)

It's good to see that other people see this crap too. What did ron do to deserve an ejection? I guess considering that laughing from the bench can get you ejected (Crawford/duncan incident) with this ref, just talking some trash can get you ejected too. Why didn't kobe get ejected for taunting numerous times? Odom for talking trash after blocking scola? Odom got all in Scola's face too. Ticky tack calls can go either way, but when our Ron gets ejected for talking and lowry gets called for a charge when the defender is in the restricted circle.....those are blatant "rigged" calls. The video doesn't lie.....

ohh and NYstreet thanks for sending Ron Artest, that guy is a beast. Great speaker too!! (anyone watch the post game interview?)

Btw on top of wanting to see Kobe and Stern lose this, I'm starting to want L.A. fans to lose, too. We've got our share of dumb fans here, and I don't know how much they say on other boards, but L.A.'s definitely got plenty of them (avoiding temptation to start rolling off names) trolling like crazy over here, and with a gross share of ego and cockiness. Shame not everyone's as cool as Portland. (one noticed bad egg from a rather busy board speaks volumes, imo)

p.s. Yo NetsForce, if you catch this, sorry about those two dudes jumping on you, weren't called for, and I'm about to start hitting the REPORT button pretty frequently if several people don't chill. (not my normal practice, but it's rather ugly right now)

If necessary, please do.

And thanks to the visiting fans. I think it's great how anyone that's not a Laker fan is 100% pulling for the Rockets; I love it.

I absolutely support rockets in that series.
You guys are playing great, and I hope to blast them, because I really hate they way they did yesterday (Fisher, Kobe)

Yeah, thanks for all the support.

FJS, just want to let you know that many Rockets fans were rooting for your Jazz over those darn Lakers. As much as we hate each other, it's good to see that we have a greater common enemy out there.

You're acting like people weren't watching the game, Thanks for the recap. What about Game 1? He had to take 31 shots to get 32 points, and even last night, if the ejection on Ron didn't happen, this game could have easily come down to the wire, since the game was cut down to what, a 7 point deficit? If you think Kobe's going to have the same game as he did in Game 2, than you're delusional.

somehow this series reminds me of the Jordan VS ewing series, one marketing favorite against marketing underdog, though i had to say Jordan is of more class, of higher game ability, and another difference is that rockets is going to win.
