News on Wafer?

Post#1 » by PocketRockets » Thu May 7, 2009 9:23 pm

Anybody got any links or info on the reason he left last night? I hope he didn't dig himself a hole and end up on the bench for the rest of the playoffs. I also hope RA knows it was a heated exchange and doesn't take what von did/said to heart. =/

I hope the Rockets clear this up. Von is an idiot IMO. You never argue with your coach during a close playoff game, especially when your team needs you. I'm guessing it was a heated exchange for Adelman to kick him off the bench.

Unless something else pops up, that should cover it. Sounds like no biggie.

Adelman would have to be an absolute moron not to play him. The dude has been our only reliable bench wing, and provides just what we need.

Who else are we gonna rely on? Barry?! LOL.

The coach and the player have a good talk and everything is behind them. Wafer will be available for game 3.

You can't let such thing be a distraction to the rest of the team. I'm glad both of them settled down and put the case behind them. Time to move onto Game 3.

This why Adelman is player's coach, he is willing to talk and discuss issues with players. I think he is the best teacher in the league.

I hope he can turn his negative energy into something that can help Rockets win tomorrow.

Haha I think Wafer is either same age or older than JR, I know they were both McDonalds all-american... Wafer had the sweetest dunks in the game and the dunk competition, He used to wear those knee high socks.
