If the 2010 free agents star signing extensions, i think the Nets might be willing to take salary back. So what do you guys think of this following trade:
NJN get: David West and Peja Stojakovic
No get:Yi Jianlian, Hayes, Hassel, Bobby Simmons, Josh Boone, and a 1st round draft pick(not this years`)
You guys get a young prospect in Yi and the pick,plus a lot of expiring contracts in Hassel, Hayes(very good bench player), Simmons, and boone. NO still can be competitive with this trade.

No-one wants Yi, you wont get an All-Star (all-be-it borderline) in return IMO, you're team will likely be a playoff team next year if this deal gets done, so your future pick is a pretty unlikely gamble. Boone = Armstrong.,

A Memphis offer of Rudy Gay and the #6 pick for West and Posey is at least a little better.
