And the battalions will descend upon you.

The war won't be decided until June.

And the Rockets nor the Lakers will be there to decide it.

Can you give me the winning lottery numbers for this weeks picks please?

Seems they think they are entitled to a championship, that they don't need to work for it.

It ain't scripted--at least not entirely. Just because you have Jack in a starring role doesn't mean you're going to win Best Picture.

It takes heart.

We may no longer have a marquee player, but we have a remarkable ensemble.

We may not kill you.

But we have mortally wounded you.

You are exaggerating just a bit. The Lakers had a poor effort today. But I would not at all question their heart.
Of course it takes heart. That's not e news flash. Let me tell you my frind, the Lakers have plenty of heart.
No doubt the Rockets played a brilliant game today as a shorthanded team. They deserve all the credit in the world.
But DO NOT question the Laker's heart. Kobe alone has more heart than any other player I know in this league.
Mortally wounded? Please. What a nonsensical comment. The Lakers WILL represent the WC in the NBA Finals.

Artificial toughness. Artificial skill. Artificial quality.

Kobe's not tough, Childs proved that. Neither is the rest of the team, the Celtics proved that.

We shall wait for next year.

And you will too.

Or you guys could be helping the lakers by making them realize what it takes to win a championship. All laker fans can do is hope they learn from rockets and start playing with effort no matter what.

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

Hmm.. I guess last season's Lakers were a much better team since they never played like this in the WC playoffs. One year later we are worse than what we were! Now that's alarming.

I dont know how you came to the conclusion that the lakers were a better team last year then they are this year. Especially when the lakers are still in the playoffs. Last year the lakers coasted through the playoffs and how did that work out. Meanwhile, the Celtics played 26 games in the playoffs/finals and won a Chip...Hmmm. Anyhow, at the end of the day I could careless about the Journey I only care about the end goal...Championship. If that means every series goes 7 games and we win then Im all for it.

I'm not necessarily saying they were a better team but they only lost 3 games in the WC. We have lost 4 already in the 2nd round. We were much more balanced, showed great composure and made big comebacks, rarely lost close games etc.. Ofcourse this was all before we played the Celtics.
