I am actually a Rashard Lewis fan I like his game quite a bit, but these comments are downright silly, he and perhaps his team are just not in the moment.

"It most definitely adds fuel to the fire," Lewis said. "We don't like that type of stuff. You have to be professional about the game of basketball. We're a professional team and we expect them to be the same way.

"Those guys were jumping up and down, waving their hands at us, saying bye, but it's not over yet; it's just 2-2," Lewis added. "We could have done the same thing when we won on their court, but we're more professional than that. They still have to win ballgames. The series ain't over yet."

Huh? What? These comments remind me of the sentiment expressed by Billups last season and tend to be the comments of a team that plays without passion or a sense of the moment, as the Pistons proved in the Conference Finals last season.

The Magic want to go through the motions not to live it.

How can you add more "fuel to the fire" this isn't a game in February it is the playoffs? You had your foot on the throat of the defending champs seconds away from putting their backs against the wall and your worried about their post game celebration? You just went from 3 swings at elimination to having to win 2 of 3 on the road and your worried about being more professional. You just handed this team their ass in the last game and now the "series ain't over."

Your team had a player suspended a game for slapping another player in the head while getting blown out and his replacement and your head coach had to be separated when you were blowing 'em out. But now professionalism is the issue. I don't think Boston can compete with ORL physically they are much more talented, longer, and have more depth but they are showing that they may not have it mentally and emotionally to finish us off.

The only thing that should be on his mind is that his team let Boston off the hook but he an Dwight were more worried that Boston was dissing them on their home court.

You gotta feel it, hopefully this keeps up.

“I’m always going to remember that,” Ray Allen said. “If I beat a team, as happy as I may be in victory, I’m always going to stay humble and always remember that there’s another day. We play each other too much. Those are great motivational thoughts for me.”

Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset with how BBD handled himself or how the Celtics did after winning that game. That was a great win last night and an even better game. They had every right in the world to talk trash and celebrate. I think it's pretty lame of the Magic fans and their team complaining about the Celtics celebrating, but this Rashard Lewis quote reminds me so much of Ray Allen whining after they lost to Cleveland on Easter.

What's up with the magic? Celts lose yesterday season is over essentially. Now, they have life.

I am sorry, I need BBD, Perk, and Rondo to play with tremendous energy. They have to play excited and go overboard, it's best for the team. If it hurts your feelings, don't give up the game-winning shot.

When you have not won a championship, its hard to explain to the normal non-champion players how hard it is.

From Rashard comments, its shows that he shows up and puts in the work, but his heart and soul isnt really in it or he would understand why the Celtics were jumping around.

If he had his heart in the game, he wouldnt have taken the loss so easily in the video.

Its just another game to him and it sad because your not going to get this close to a champioship every year.

Ask Dan Marino, Super Bowl appearance first year and never got back.

To me that is two different situations as I am following. That is a game at the end of the regular season that had little significance, that is the time for that type of talk if there ever is. I am not for it ever it reminds me off people bitching about teams running up the score like it is there fault for not quitting like you did.

If this was a blowout and Lewis wanted talk about Boston's trash talk to change the subject or focus fine I guess. But this was a last second basket in a playoff game that reversed the flow of the series. Your a team leader and your focused on the other team's celebration instead of the fact that you let it get away and you need to get it back. Your into the victory celebration, talking about how you, who have just made it out of the first round for the second time in your career, and your team are more professional than the reigning champs. It seems like Rashard has a regular season focus going in the playoffs.

Sorry guys, that celebration yesterday was a bit over the top for a game that just tied the series at 2-2. I can see that type of emotion in a game that won the series but to do that just because you tied it, is rediculous. Ray Allen in my opinion probably has the most class on that team and is up there as far as the league. But overall the Celts aren't professional, KG is classless by how he acts on the sidelines and then when some of your players (Pierce, Rondo, Perkins, etc) Whine about everycall not going there way, sorry thats just being a baby. I pulled for you guys last year against the Lakers, but i really hope you guys fail this year. The cockiness this team has gotten after winning a title is kind of rediculous. The Celtics were definitely a likeable team last year but this year, it just seems annoying to me. Good luck to Orlando in my opinion but either way, the Cavs will probably destroy either team once the East Finals start.

The funny thing is we were even worse last year. Dudes were standing up the whole damn game calling for dunks by the second team in blowouts, league actually told them they had to sit down and be more "professional" I guess this season. It is all in the haters... I mean minds eye, you saw what you wanted to see last season and you see what you want to see now.

That's a very good point. To me, something about that Orlando team seems off. I saw someone on the GB say that fans are an extension of a team's personality and I definitely see that in Orlando. I was lurking on the official Magic message board this morning and I am not lying to you when I sincerely believe that at least 75% of the posts in the official game thread were complaining about the officiating. That doesn't include all of the other threads. It's like that place is literally nothing but Stern, Stu Jackson and officials talk.

To me, a fan base that does nothing but complain about officials is basically throwing in the towel. I see it on the Cavs board, too. I remember before the Rockets destroyed Cleveland, there was already a thread made by someone blaming the refs for the loss before the game was even played!

I realize that the players have very little to do with any of this, but I think it comes down to SVG. When you have a head coach who is so arrogant and accusatory in his press conferences, it has to trickle down to the players. It certainly has to the fans.

This fan base reminds me of the Pistons one from a few years ago. They had guys like Rasheed Wallace who would rather bitch about officiating or things that took blame away from himself for losing games or series. That kind of attitude is cancerous and it definitely worked its way into the psyche of a lot of their fans.

That's his point, though. Very few people think the Magic know how to deal with that fuel the Celtics supposedly provided. They will probably internalize it and get run out of the gym.

Celebrating and talking trash is part of sports. Look at the sport of football. Hell, even golfers celebratel ike crazy after an important shot.
