No. The Hawks weren't going to have a prayer in Cleveland even if Joe played well. I do think they would have won atleast one of the two games at home though if they had Wade.

I would try to get a big scorer..Bosh or Amare in particular. Our halfcourt offense was pretty embarrassing. Joe is not a legit number 1 option, but he can still be a key part of our team in the future. His efficiency would go up due to facing less double teams and our ball movement would obviously be better.

No... even with Wade there is a large gap between the Hawks and Cleveland.

No we don't beat them. Wade would score, but Leborn would go off since Wade can't cover him. Then with bad plays by our big men it is the same result.

So the next obvious question. Does anyone believe that with a different coach that the Hawks would beat the cavs?

Evans covered Lebron, with Wade, Evans would still be the guy who covers Lebron.

Joe plays really good defense (sometimes overrated by alot of people), but Wade's help defense is one of the best in the league. Wade's defense is actually very very good, he gets defensive stats, as well as play solid fundamental defense, which is why is made the Second All Defensive Team.

i know, which is why I said that Lebron would still go off. Adding in Wade isn't going to improve our defense on Lebron that much since he will still get his points, rebounds, and dimes.

Lebron is not good because of his size, but more because of his speed (alot of guys in the NBA are 6'8, but not 6'8 and fast), Wade i think is the only guy who's speed is better than Lebron. Lebron vs Evans, and Wade vs West.

Wade usually matches Lebron in production in their meetings, and you put Smith and Bibby next to Wade and the results could be alot better.

We would be MUCH better with Wade. I think we can win the division with him and potentially avoid Cleveland until the ECF. That being said, I don't think anyone is beating the Cavs this year. They are a team on a mission.

If Marvin was healthy he would guard Lebron even if Wade was on the team.

The big gap between the Hawks and the Cavs on the boards wouldn't change with Wade. If you get consistently punked on the boards you are going to lose.

Wade would help (especially in 5 minute scoring droughts), but not enough. I don't think a different coach would do it either. Cleveland has better personnel than us on the whole and the match ups are in their favor.

Joe biggest strength on offense is his size and strength, but Lebron matches up too well with him negating those advantages. Wade has more speed, which should have helped him in penetration. Although it still doesn't exploit the Cavs biggest defensive weakness which is PG penetration by speed and quickness. The reason I say this is that he wouldn't be defended by a PG. Overall, we still get smoked on the boards as we can't match Z's length or Varajeo's combination of length and speed. We are several upgrades to the lineup before we are in Cleveland's class because of multiple matchup problems.

I think so.
