Big Baby's gracious considerate apology (weei.com)
I love Big Baby.

“I’m a big guy,” Davis said at the Celtics shoot-around prior to tonight’s Game 5 at TD Banknorth Garden. “Imagine if my emotions are going so wild, and if I’m running by somebody, I don’t feel them. If I’ve hurt anybody or if I’ve done any harm to anybody, please forgive me because my intentions were just harmless.
“I didn’t see the kid,” he continued. “I’m a big guy and I’m emotional. If I had seen him, I would have picked up, rubbed his head and tried to make him feel better. I’m a big guy guy. I’m just sorry if I hurt anyone.”

Re: Big Baby's gracious considerate apology (weei.com)
There was absolutely no reason for Big Baby to issue this apology, which makes me even happier to see him take the high road and apologize. This whole thing has been blown completely out of proportion by this kid's father and the media and I'm glad we can put this behind us so we can get back to what's really important, a Game 5 victory.

yea I saw it happen live, and I was more confused as why the kid was so close to the court. I liked big baby before, and now I like him even more.

Shouldnt the Dad apologize to Big Baby for calling him a "raging animal"?
What funny about the quote " How would you like it if you saw a Raging Animal coming at you".....the kid doesnt even seem to see Big Baby until he pushes him out of the way IMO

PTI says the Dad apologized to Big Baby Davis !

Now it's only fitting if Big baby hits another gamewinner in the exact same spot in game 6 and hugs the kid and the dad this time !

ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" show tweeted the following this afternoon:
Also... we'll discuss an unexpectedly thoughtful and apologetic e-mail we received today from the father of the kid Big Baby shoved.
