Dallas Robbed??

Post#1 » by PocketRockets » Sun May 10, 2009 12:15 am

HAHAHAHAHAH watching that last possession by denver made me feel soooo good inside. The face of Howard and Cuban were priceless. If the refs don't blow the whistle you gotta keep playing, Cuban and the Mavs are just a bunch of sore losers. IF melo would have missed that shot, they wouldn't be complaining that they didn't get that foul in would they? hahahhahahah

If 'robbed' means Dirk missing clutch baskets...then yea. The Mavs were robbed.

Absolutely NOT. If Melo missed that shot, this would've been a non-issue.

Plus, Wright foul attempt was weak. He should have wrapped Carmelo up with the ball and prevent Melo from getting the shot off.

Along with Dallas' missed shots and FTs, I think they chocked.

I don't think so, It was just a weak foul like T-Mac said he should of wrapped Melo up.

Honestly it didn't even look like he was trying to foul him, he just kinda chest bumped him. Jesus all he had to do was grab him.

I watched the play a few times and I feel Wright completely blew it. Not only did he not cover Melo up, but I don't believe Wright intended on making any contact, and his reaction the second contact was made tells that. Not sure about Rick, but he needed to yell foul and telling the refs would help before the inbound.

Looking at the replay. Wright didnt try to foul, as seen by him putting his hands up to say I didnt touch him.

You can't blame the refs for not calling a foul. Wright threw his hands in the air and stepped away from Melo. That body language implies "I didn't touch him".

Wright made a mistake.

It's grade school fundamentals, if you are going to foul make sure they don't get a shot off.

Wright should have made a play towards the ball, not some minor incidental contact with his chest bump.

Dallas was robbed of nothing.

I don't know if i agree with this view. I didn't watch the game but I saw the replay more than a few times and also watched the interviews after the game. They had a foul to give and their coach told them to use it, but not in the act of shooting.

Did he foul? Yes.
Did he make it obvious? No.

He should have put both his hands on Melo to make it obvious, but he didn't. He thought he did a good enough job to foul and was expecting a whistle so he put up his hands as saying to the scorers table, "that foul was on me."

The refs should have known that Dallas had a foul to give and ready to call the foul, but they didn't.

NBA admitted the refs made a mistake.

We were robbed in 2005. The mavs are simply worst team than the Nuggets.

I just saw the play, NBA is obviously rigged with officials. In this play you can see when Wright makes contact on Carmelo anthony. The ref closest to them, was looking down coincidentally, completely ignored it!!! and he raised his hand to signify that the shot goes. He was so close to them and wrights hand was reaching in with contact obviously. U dont need two hands to reach in. It's true that Wright Raised his hand, but the initial contact was an obvious foul. I guess he raised his hand to say that the foul was on him, refs should immediately understand that but all 3 were sitting ducks.

If Melo would have missed and they called a foul late.....Mavs would still be complaining. Point IS Mavs suck and karma is a Bitch!! When Terry or whoever slapped that ball out of tmacs hand after the free throw in 05 and they got the ball...they're weren't complaining then. **** them and **** Cuban. That's why they'll never win a championship.

Two things we can count on:
NBA refs blowing calls
Mavs whining after a loss

The Refs dropped the ball on that call. It was a clear foul, anyone who think less is a homer.

You can have great, unbiased refs calling that series.

Dallas is still going to lose.
