How come Joey Dorsey doesn't get minutes? Is he in the Rockets future plans?

Would Charlotte's second round pick and cash get him from you guys? Lol.

Good luck Game 6.. this is definitely not over.

John Feigen has just written his article
http://blogs.chron.com/nba/2009/05/did_ ... t_roc.html

The Rockets were whipped, blown out as badly as they ever have been in a playoff game. But they did not seem defeated. They knew what they had done wrong. They had made it way too obvious for there to be much confusion, and they headed home to turn things around again.

The Rockets, however, are a much different team. It probably was a quiet flight home, but they were not shattered. They did not seem embarrassed. They were actually looking forward to Game 6, not so much to make amends, but to take another swing at it.

"There won't be any carryover," Carl Landry said. "You won't see anything like this in two days. We'll be ready."

I was going to ask about that. Stopped watching in the 2nd, and was spotty before that. The refereeing certainly didn't kill us (our 1st Q TO's did that nicely), but it's nice to hear it sucked anyway.

Oden2 wrote:I've always believed in the necessity for consistent reffing. Whether the reffing is good or bad, it should be equal on both ends of the floor. Tonight, the refs are making both bad and unequal calls. Props to the LA players for coming out as the better team tonight, but some of the inconsistencies from the officials are really starting to bug me.

Well, it WAS Salvatore.

what the hell happened.. the nba is calling a bunch of gay fouls lately. it was miserable to watch the nuggets vs mavericks series. now its happening here too.. if the ref are going to control the game like this i dont want to watch basketball anymore. this is same reason i stopped watching wrestling, after i found out it was fake. the nba cares my ass. what about my time? you wasted my time cheering for my team and then you take it away by whistling bogus touch foul. why the hell is it a foul when a defender is peddling backward guarding the man in front of him, the fool with the ball leaping forward should not be given free throws because he bounce into his defender. rockts big men were called for fouls like that all night, but when they tried it on the other end. where is the fking whistle? im irate at the system the nba created to have more points scored by their icon player.

Yeah, I know. I have a friend that's arguing the same thing. Keep telling him that sort of thing ain't right, but he really hates Kobe. Dunno, it doesn't make sense to me, and isn't right at all, but to each his own.

If it's Cook that's going to be making the move, we don't even need to make it look like an accident. He'll get suspended for game seven, and we won't have to worry about him being on the floor. We'll be killing two birds with one stone (or fat guy, in this case).

If you want to take Kobe out, then be my guest. I'd rather Cook do it, so Rick can't play him, but whatever. As long as he goes down in the third.

It was somebody else talking about "take Kobe down", we shouldn't talk about this kind of stuff at all IMO, I am good with someone in the team does the penetrate/aggressive play and create the opportunity to put Kobe in foul trouble, but hey, we all know it's hard and especially hard on Kobe.
Personally, physically taking down someone on bball court is not basketball anymore, but you are right, Cook might be the right person to do it in the team, I was just kidding around, I do hope our fans can show some class though, no matter who we play.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to see Kobe get hurt, it's much more fun to see him lose to Denver or in the Finals and forever remind himself that he can't win without Shaq.

Then again, if some random white girl decided to run out on to the floor and assault him I'd probably get a giggle out of it.

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Agreed!

Kobe missing the remainder of the playoffs is like his girl dropping that legal case. The truth will not be revealed.
