Where to find cheap Jays Fitted?

Post#1 » by torontopistons » Thu May 14, 2009 2:22 am

Does anyone know where to get a Jays fitted for less than $30 (plus tax)? I'm looking for the normal black one with the T, or the blue and white retro.

si vous play sports sells them at $29, where as mall retailers and other sports stores sell them at $36.

I don't think you can find one for less than $30 though.

Damn, was hoping there would be a place cheaper than SVP that wouldn't require a journey and a half to get to. Thanks anyways.

Uhhh I think Sports Locker downtown at Yonge and Gerrard sells at $30 too. You could try there if it's accessible.

You shop at ECAP too?

I haven't ordered in a while, mainly because I haven't really seen anything I liked, but I went on a spree on that site last summer.

Yeah that one is nice. They used to have a better Blue Jays selection earlier in the year, but a lot of them sold out. Pretty reliable site.

Does anyone know if the fitteds sold in those Yonge St. sports stores are real? I've heard stories about suspect quality in some of the products sold there (Yonge Sports in particular)

Yonge Sports and Sports Locker are authorized New Era Cap retailers.

SVP has 9 locations and none of them are downtown. Weak.

I'm actually looking for a new cap myself. I used to have an old all black one with the current Jay logo before an old friend punked it, and I haven't had a Jays hat since. I want to get something different, maybe one of the retro ones. I used to like the skyline background like these https://www.hatland.com/prodimg/NEFcity ... purred.jpg but I don't like the flat brim so that limits my options.

I remember Da Zone (just west of Queen/Spadina) was affiliated with Si Vous Play and had some nice fitteds, but they've closed down shop now.

I bought a couple fitteds from ecap last summer as they had great selection and some unique fitteds. Haven't been on the site in ages though. I think New Era got the NBA license as I've seen some NBA fitteds around the city.
