Go Jays!! I have a good feeling about this year, I just hope we can stay relatively healthy.

And by the way, I only created this game thread to get the ball rolling. I'll continue creating it if the Jays go on a winning streak, but much like the Raps board, a new poster can create a game thread once we lose (which of course, may never happen).

I'm going to miss the game because of work. :(

With all of the day games this week, and Friday being untelevised, I won't be able to catch a Jays game on TV until SATURDAY! How screwed up is that? I've gotten used to watching quite a bit of the Jays in April, although thanks to the Raptors that won't be quite as necessary this year. :)

With Roy on the mound I expect the win. It'll be a tough game. But I'm feeling an opening day victory.

Very interested in this matchup.

The Tigers have a pretty solid lineup, and with Doc on the mound, it'll be interesting to see the stuff he's got.

As for the lineup, the Jays have been struggling thus far, I'm hoping some cold weather will wake the bats up.

Both pretty solid teams, with some great pitching to be expected.

Jays lose 4-3....BJ Ryan blown save, HR to Gary Sheffield 2 run shot :(

BTW...I'm absolutely loving the new forum and the fact I'm in university and class ends @ 12: 20 for me....lol...sorry to those who can't catch the game.....get to the nearst computer and see if dewsaw is carrying the game :)
